There's no shortage of excellent deals on the latest iPhone 17 Pro right now, but most of the juiciest discounts either require you to trade in a device or sign up for a pricey fixed-length plan. However, right now at Metro by T-Mobile, the carrier is offering new customers an impressive $300 discount on the iPhone 17 Pro if you pair it up with one of the carrier's excellent-value prepaid plans.

To be eligible, you need to port your number over to Metro on the carrier's mid-tier $50/mo plan or higher. That's not the cheapest plan right now, but it is one that features mobile hotspot and options for further device upgrades down the line. Crucially, it's still much cheaper than equivalent plans at major carriers like Metro's parent T-Mobile.

Today's best iPhone deal at Metro by T-Mobile

Metro's latest deal on the iPhone 17 Pro is a great choice if you're interested in this superb premium flagship but don't want to pay the big bucks for a pricey postpaid plan. Right now, the carrier is offering an impressive $300 discount when you pair the device with a $50/mo plan or higher. Unlike most deals on the device, no trade-in is needed at all. Note: this deal is eligible for new customers only.

One major perk at Metro that I haven't mentioned above is that the carrier is currently offering an impressive five-year price guarantee on all plans. While it's not the only carrier to do so, it's definitely a major selling point if you're looking to keep your plan costs low in the long run.

If you're on a budget, then you could also consider the carrier's entry-level $40/mo unlimited plan. Today's discount on the iPhone 17 Pro is limited to the higher-end plans at Metro, but the carrier is still offering the price guarantee on this cheaper plan.

You can also get a free 5G phone right now if you're a new customer. Granted, these are budget devices, but they'll be great if you just want the basics covered.
