Iconic cooler brand Yeti just got even, uh, cooler with a new collection of retro goodies using the brand's old-school colors and slogan. The Throwback drop includes hard and soft coolers of various shapes and sizes, alongside a selection of accessories for those who just like the general vibe.
While the styling is retro, the build quality and features are distinctly modern, so you won't need to worry about compromising on performance. I'm particularly enamored with the original slogan, which appears on the Brim Rope Hat and Rambler water bottle: 'Wildly Stronger! Keep Ice Longer!' Are we using exclamation points enough in marketing these days? I don't think so.
I've have collected a number of Yeti products over the years, and while they're a little pricey, they're always reliable, well designed, and built to last. So I really don't need any of these old-but-new additions, but that doesn't mean they're not on my wishlist anyway. Below, I've rounded up my favorites from the collection.
Obviously I've included the instantly recognizable Roadie Hard Cooler. It's a classic for a reason — my sister took one on a no-electric camping vacation and will not stop going on about how well it held up in the face of scorchingly hot temperatures. My own summer companion of choice was the Hopper Backpack, which I have in (boring, modern) bottle green. It's sturdy yet comfortable to wear, leak-proof (so you can fill it with ice) and the snappable magnetic closure is ultra-convenient.
