KitchenAid just launched its iconic stand mixer in a brand new colour – and I think it might be the prettiest yet

- KitchenAid's Artisan mixer is available in a new colour called Wildflower
- The new shade is a light purple with a satin gloss finish
- The Artisan Tilt-Head 4.7L mixer is on sale now for £499
If the latest series of The Great British Bake Off has inspired you to upgrade your stand mixer, then you should take a look at the latest version of KitchenAid's signature stand mixer, which is now available in a frosty lilac colour called Wildflower.
Wildflower has a satin gloss finish, and the colour should pair particularly well with the natural shades that are becoming increasingly popular for kitchen appliances, replacing the more traditional black, white, and red.
At the start of the year, KitchenAid announced that its official colour of 2025 would be a soft yellow called Butter, and a few months later, the company launched a new stand mixer with an olive-coloured body and walnut wood bowl combo called Evergreen.
Purple reign
KitchenAid mixers last a seriously long time, so it's worth choosing a colour that you really love. I've had my turquoise mixer for 12 years now, and it still works as well as the day I unboxed it. It has a powerful motor that makes light work of everything from light meringues to thick, dry doughs, and a hidden socket on the front where you can connect a huge range of attachments. Rolling pasta, grinding meat, shaving ice, chopping veg – your new mixer can do it all.
You can even replace the regular stainless steel bowl with a ceramic one for a new look, or the freezable ice cream bowl for making icy treats.
The KitchenAid 4.7L Tilt-Head Stand Mixer in Wildflower is available now direct from KitchenAid for £499, and comes bundled with a stainless steel wire whisk, dough hook, and paddle.
