Is that it? IKEA's has a limited-edition merch range to mark its 40th birthday — but it's rather underwhelming

Iconic Swedish homeware giant IKEA is turning 40, and to mark the occasion it has released a range of limited-edition 'streetwear' merch. No longer need your dedication to the brand be hidden behind closed doors, confined to practical shelving units and affordable yet eye-catching soft furnishings. Now you can express your IKEA love proudly on your chest, with a branded tee or hoodie.
It's all part of the 'Aurtiende' range; a limited-edition collection that won't be sticking around long. IKEA can't quite decide what the name means — the US site claims it's "from the Swedish word for 'Original'" while the UK one suggests it translates as 'decade' (Google Translate suggests the former is correct, but Swedish speakers feel free to confirm in the comments).
Now, IKEA regularly delivers when it comes to funky design ideas, and I can't pretend I'm not a little bit underwhelmed by this particular drop. Shoppers in the US have a particularly feeble selection to choose from — limited to just hoodies and T-shirts in a handful of colors (the stamped fuchsia tee is the only real standout). The UK range is more expansive, including things like totes and bucket hats. Still, if you're keen to take your affection for IKEA out into the world, you now have a chance to do so. Take a look at the full lineup below...
