Don't buy the Apple Watch SE 3 this Presidents' Day – I'd get this objectively better Apple Watch instead, as it's 25% off

It's nearly Valentine's Day, and the perfect time to attend to matters of the heart. While making sure you're not at risk of heart conditions like hypertension is probably not what you had in mind, it's never a bad time to check up on your health.
The best Apple Watches (the last couple of generations) offer a wealth of heart health features such as high and low heart rate alerts, hypertension detection, and ECG functionalities.
In our buying guide, I've rated the Apple Watch SE 3 as our best budget pick, and it's usually the Apple Watch I recommend to people looking for a cheap yet extremely cheerful entry point. It's stuck with the up-to-recently-standard 18-hour battery life common in older Apple Watches, but it's got fast charging, all Apple's modern software features (including all its heart health gizmos), and generally, it's the best value watch.
It's usually around $150 cheaper than the Apple Watch Series 11, which boasts a longer 24-hour battery life alongside more premium construction and a sumptuous, larger screen. It's also redesigned to be thinner and tougher than the SE 3. However, right now, as part of the Presidents' Day sales, the Apple Watch Series 11 (42mm) has been discounted from $399 to just $299 at Amazon, making it just $50 more expensive than the smallest SE 3. The same cool discount has been applied to the 46mm watch, bringing it down from $429 to just $329.
At these prices, I'd buy it over the SE 3, as it's only $50 more rather than $150. Check out the deals in full below:

The Apple Watch Series 11 is a lot like having a personal trainer on your wrist. It provides advanced metrics for all your workouts, including running, strength training, yoga, and much more. It also monitors your sleep, provides an ECG at all times, and also has safety features in case of a fall, high heart rate, or car crash.
GPS & Cellular version: was $499 now $399
There’s a fantastic $100 discount on the 46mm model of the Apple Watch Series 11, too. The extra screen space is useful when you’re glancing at it as you run, lift, or simply go for a walk. Besides the core health and safety features, the Apple Watch Series 11 also allows you to listen to music through it, take calls, and use Siri too, with the included speaker and mic.
GPS & Cellular version: was $529 now $429
The Apple Watch's heart health features are some of the most impressive on any wearable. Our writer, Lucy Buglass, wrote a piece documenting one instance in which her partner's Apple Watch might have saved his life by alerting him to an unusually high heart rate.
