While this isn't the biggest discount, the TCL Q6C is an amazing value even at full price, so any discount is a bonus. This Black Friday deal takes the 55-inch mini-LED TCL Q6C to £401.29. The Q6C delivers colorful pictures with strong contrast and an impressive list of features for this price range, including 4K 144Hz, VRR, and Dolby Vision gaming support.

The mini-LED TV market is an increasingly competitive space, so standing out is tough. A space once dominated by Samsung is now a place for great value brands to thrive. TCL's mini-LED TVs are one of these great value brands and are getting more impressive every year, delivering brilliant value for money by offering great picture quality and a fantastic set of gaming features for a budget-friendly price, cementing themselves among the best TVs each year.

I tested the TCL C6K (one of the UK equivalents to the TCL QM6K) and was impressed by its picture quality. Its bright, colorful picture quality was great for movies such as Wicked, accurately delivering the bold color palette of the movie throughout. The C6K also demonstrated effective local dimming for the price, delivering solid blacks and strong contrast, even handling The Batman well, a movie that's become a 'torture test' in my testing process due to its low brightness.

The TCL C6K is also one of the best gaming TVs at this price range. It has 4K 144Hz, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, ALLM, and Dolby Vision gaming support. It also yielded a measured 13.6ms input lag time, which is below the 15ms threshold gamers look for. When I played games such as Battlefield V, the C6K's performance was snappy and responsive, handling fast-paced action and battle sequences well.

The TCL's 6-series TVs also have a solid range of other features, including full HDR support, with both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ compatibility, Google TV, and a wide range of picture settings controls, and for the first tim,e a Filmmaker Mode option.
