Sky TV’s Black Friday deals are epic and include Netflix too – just in time for Stranger Things season 5
A trip to the Upside Down just got even cheaper
Did you really think we'd leave Sky TV streaming deals out of our Black Friday coverage? Absolutely not – and definitely not when their deals are this unmissable.
It's often felt as though you need to choose between having Sky TV and Netflix, but Black Friday is making it even easier to have both for less money.
While the Black Friday offers are only available to new Sky customers, this is the perfect opportunity to cancel your outright Netflix subscription. Unsurprisingly, Netflix isn't doing any Black Friday deals this year, so this really is the cheapest way to have the best of both worlds.
And where do I even start with content recommendations? Plenty of Christmas movies are about to hit both platforms, but there's two standout shows you cannot miss: All Her Fault and Stranger Things season 5.
Today's best Sky TV Black Friday deal
Sky 'Essential' TV & 500Mbps Full Fibre Broadband: from £35 per month at Sky
This is the cheapest Sky TV package available this Black Friday. It includes a Sky Stream device as well as access to 'Sky Atlantic', which airs Sky and HBO Originals through the Sky Stream streaming service, Netflix (its 'Standard with ads' tier), Discovery+ and over 100 free to air channels, such as BBC, ITV and Channel 4. This price is for a 24-month rolling contract with no upfront fees.
Stream All Her Fault and Stranger Things season 5 with a Sky TV Black Friday deal
As luck would have it, volume 1 of Stranger Things season 5 drops on Netflix today (November 27). It's basically permission to veg out on your sofa for the whole of Black Friday weekend doing nothing but binging the first four episodes.
We've only got the first half of the season so far, but don't worry. Not only is each episode essentially a feature film in itself, but we've got two more season 5 drops still to come. In short, it covers your Christmas and New Year plans too.
Our final trip to Hawkins is pretty self-explanatory as to why we can't miss it (but who knows if Vecna can be defeated), but All Her Fault on Sky TV might have flown under your radar.
Based on the book of the same name, Marissa Irvine (Sarah Snook) goes to collect her five-year-old son from a playdate, only to find the mom looking after him is not at the address she'd been given. In fact, neither of them are anywhere to be seen.
It's a parent's worst nightmare, but for thriller lovers, there's enough twists and turns to have you constantly on the edge of your seat. The story movies at lightning pace, and while it has a dizzying effect, All Her Fault is most effective when binged in one go. So what are you waiting for?
