Paramount+ just added every Friday the 13th movie – and you can stream them for less with this limited-time deal

Paramount+ added a huge 127 new movies in September 2025 and among them sit the first eight films from one of my all time favorite horror franchises, Friday the 13th.
Admit it – you're tempted, right? And the good news is that you can now relive the campy thrills of the horror series for less, thanks to a fantastic Paramount+ discount.
Right now, you can subscribe to the ad-supported Essential tier of Paramount+, one of the best streaming services, for just $29.99, down from the usual annual price of $59.99. This works out at a mere $2.50 a month, so if you're on a budget it's a great option.
If you can afford to spend a little more, though, I'd recommend you instead step up to the Premium plan, which is also 50% off and down to $59.99 from its usual $119.99. Premium gets rid of the ads, and brings with it extra benefits such as 4K UHD streaming, Dolby Vision, and offline downloads.
This limited-time discount brings down the monthly cost of a subscription to the Paramount+ Essential tier to just $2.50, giving you full access to its library of 40,000+ TV show episodes and movies for a fraction of the usual price – albeit with ads. But be quick, this offer ends on September 18.
Want to go Premium? You can cut the annual price of the top Paramount+ tier from $119.99 to just $59.99, once again a massive 50% saving. As with the Essential tier, the offer ends on September 18.
Why you should check out the Friday the 13th movies
The original Friday the 13th is widely regarded as the best of the series; one of the original slasher flicks, its massive success following its release in 1980 helped popularize the genre.
It was followed by 11 more films, which are admittedly of varying degrees of quality, but which together make up one of the most iconic of all movie franchises.
The three most recent films in the series – Freddy vs Jason, Jason X and the 2009 Friday the 13th – haven't been added to Paramount+, but that still leaves eight that you can stream now.

If you're a fan of the slasher genre and particularly Jason Voorhees, these eight movies make for a great binge watch. Provided you're prepared for some slightly silly moments, it's one of those franchises that can become a guilty pleasure.
Let's be real, nobody's expecting a masterpiece when it comes to the average slasher. They tend to follow a formula that we know and love, so they do provide that strangely comforting familiarity for genre fans.
The franchise's Rotten Tomatoes scores range from 68% to 11%, so it really is a bit of a rollercoaster. For me that's half the fun, though, and it's one of the franchises I love to revisit this time of year.
Halloween is rapidly approaching, and Paramount+ is a great place for horror fans to be this month, as they've added plenty of other spooky titles such as Scream 4 and I Know What You Did Last Summer to the roster. These join some of the best horror movies already available on the service, making the current Paramount+ deal one to check out if you fancy a few scares.

Lucy is a long-time movie and television lover who is an approved critic on Rotten Tomatoes. She has written several reviews in her time, starting with a small self-ran blog called Lucy Goes to Hollywood before moving onto bigger websites such as What's on TV and What to Watch, with TechRadar being her most recent venture. Her interests primarily lie within horror and thriller, loving nothing more than a chilling story that keeps her thinking moments after the credits have rolled. Many of these creepy tales can be found on the streaming services she covers regularly.
When she’s not scaring herself half to death with the various shows and movies she watches, she likes to unwind by playing video games on Easy Mode and has no shame in admitting she’s terrible at them. She also quotes The Simpsons religiously and has a Blinky the Fish tattoo, solidifying her position as a complete nerd.
