Are there any Netflix Black Friday deals available in 2025?
Netflix hasn't offered any Black Friday discounts in recent years
Every year, there's always one streaming platform that refuses to get in on the Black Friday sales action: Netflix.
Admittedly, the world's best streaming service doesn't really need to. With 260 million+ subscribers, it's the most popular platform of its kind on the planet. Add in the constant stream of new Netflix movies and shows to its ever-expanding back catalog, and its cost-effective ad-supported tier that's competitively priced against its peers, and Netflix doesn't need to offer discounts to attract new users.
Nevertheless, hope springs eternal at this time each year as audiences wonder whether a Netflix Black Friday deal is available. So, has Netflix finally bucked its own trend and announced a Black Friday offer that's too tempting to turn down?
Is there a Netflix Black Friday offer that I can take advantage of?
In short: no. Netflix hasn't reduced the monthly or annual cost of its various plans for Black Friday 2025. If you're a new or returning customer, you'll have to part with the same amount of cash as the rest of us.
Right now, the cheapest tier available to you is Netflix's Standard with Ads plan. The monthly cost of this ad-supported subscription is $7.99 in the US, £5.99 in the UK, CAN$9.99 in Canada, AU$9.99 in Australia, and NZ$7.99 in New Zealand.
If you want to stream some of the best Netflix movies and best Netflix shows around, then, this is the cheapest option available to you.
So, I can't watch Stranger Things season 5 for less on Netflix during Black Friday 2025?
Nope. The first four episodes of Stranger Things season 5 are out now on Netflix, but you won't be able to watch it at a reduced price over Black Friday weekend. In order to catch Stranger Things' fifth and final season, you'll have to sign up to one of Netflix's current plans – the cheapest of which is, as I outlined above, the ads-based tier.

Are there any Black Friday streaming deals to take advantage of?
Yes! Netflix isn't involved in the biggest sales event of the year – again – but plenty of its rivals are.
You can get the full lowdown on every single offer by reading our best Black Friday streaming deals guide. Alternatively, you can continue scrolling to see my top three picks for the best streaming discounts that are available this Black Friday.
Before you get too excited: you should know that most, if not all, of the deals in the aforementioned guide, as well as those listed below, are only available in the US. As you peruse these offers, then make sure you double-check the monetary symbol attached to each deal so you know if it's actually on offer in your nation.
Disney+ and Hulu (with ads) bundle: was $12.99 per month now $4.99 at Disney+
Available to new and returning customers, this deal saves you $95 on a 12-month subscription to the ad-supported Disney+ and Hulu bundle. You'll get access to two of the world's leading streaming platforms, and all of the movie, TV show, and live sports content that they provide. Okay, you'll need to sit through the odd ad break, but that's a small price to pay when an offer as good (and rare!) as this becomes available. Be quick, though – it's only here until 11:59pm PT on Monday, December 1.
Paramount+ 'Premium' plan: was $12.99 per month now $2.99 at Paramount+
Get $10 off the ad-free Paramount+ 'Premium' plan by picking up this limited deal before December 2, which brings the cost down to just $2.99 per month for the first two months rather than the usual $12.99. This Black Friday discount also applies to the $7.99 per month 'Essential' tier that includes ads, saving you $5 on the usual monthly price. Just note, you won't be eligible for a free trial if you sign up for this promotion – but it applies to new and existing subscribers.
HBO Max annual subscription (Hulu add-on): was $9.99 per month now $2.99 at Hulu
Get around 70% off the usual HBO Max (with ads) add-on cost for Hulu until December 1 by picking up this limited deal, which brings the cost down to just $2.99 per month for a whole year rather than the usual total cost of $9.99 per month. Just note that this deal is only available to Hulu subscribers, whether that's to the standalone service, Live TV bundle or trio bundle with Disney+ and ESPN.
