You may not know it, but there are some hidden early Black Friday deals kicking about online already, and some of the most sought-after devices are the best fitness trackers - namely the Garmin Venu 3.

We recently reviewed the brand new Garmin Venu 4, which we praised rather highly for its new fitness-tracking and LED torch features, but it's pricey. The Garmin Venu 3 is now better value (around $150/£150 cheaper) and isn't all that different to its new sibling (which is a hefty $469/£469).

Amazon has brought the price of the Garmin Venu 3 down to $319.99 from $379.99 in the US and to £319 in the UK - the latter being it's lowest price yet. Despite the small discount, it's similar enough to the Venu 4 that will be more than satisfactory if you're after a good value smart watch - or want a great Apple Watch alternative.

Though it's not the biggest saving out there, the Garmin Venu 3 is still $150 cheaper than the new Venu 4. Aside from the built-in flashlight function, it packs pretty much all of the similar smarts, so you won't be missing out on a lot.

The Garmin Venu 3's UK listing isn't a massive saving if we're honest, but it's finally reached it's lowest price point, surpassing its £325.99 deal from June. As mentioned, if you're looking for a smart watch and fitness tracker hybrid but want to avoid an Apple Watch, the Venu 3 is a great alternative.

When we first reviewed the Garmin Venu 3, we described it as a 'near-perfect balance of smartwatch and health tracker', and it's lived to prove us right.

As far as design goes, the Venu 3 is a very smart-looking wearable, packing a stainless steel bezel and a bright 1.4 inch AMOLED screen that can be viewed clearly in all kinds of conditions. Not to mention it's silicone strap is comfortable to wear and waterproof, but let's get into its smarts.

With hybrid features, the Venu 3 can be flexible to your needs depending on whether you want to use it as your primary fitness tracker, or if you'll mainly use it as a casual smartwatch. If it's the former, the Venu 3 goes above and beyond on the fitness front with guided meditation content offering both visual and audio guidance, all on top of its all-day heart rate tracking, deep sleep tracking with guidance, stress scores, HRV measurements, and respiration tracking just to list a few.
