Which is the best HTC phone?
All the information on the HTC smartphone range
4. HTC One SV
OS: Android Jelly Bean
A low(ish)-end 4G smartphone? Don't mind if we do. The HTC One SV fuses together 2012's One S and One V and adds a splash of superfast internet to create an attractive proposition.
You get a relatively average 4.3-inch, 480 x 800 display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Android Jelly Bean on board the One SV, and while those specs won't set the world alight they are ample for this handset.
Internet browsing speeds are impressive and the battery manages to last a whole day without issue, but the poorer screen tech and pedestrian camera are a couple of compromises to consider.
3. HTC Desire 500
OS: Android Jelly Bean
Coming in just above the Desire C in the spec race the HTC Desire 500 is the latest handset to make it out of the Taiwanese firm and into the UK, offering up a mid- to low-end experience.
Rocking a 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera and Android Jelly Bean the Desire 500 is well equipped for most of your smartphone needs.
There is an issue with low internal storage, but the inclusion of a microSD slot alleviates that and while the screen may not be HD the Desire 500 has a low enough price tag to make that acceptable.
2. HTC One Mini
OS: Android Jelly Bean
If you hold both the One and the One Mini, you'll struggle to tell the difference, apart from the fact one is smaller than the other (obviously).
The aluminium build quality pervades, and it's hard to believe that you're not holding one of the premium devices on the market.
We love that the functionality of the One Mini isn't compromised from its larger relative, with the likes of UltraPixels and BoomSound all involved without being watered down.
In short, it's a cheaper version of the larger phone that scales down the processor and drops the price. Good combo, HTC.
1. HTC One
OS: Android Jelly Bean
No surprises who's occupying number one spot here, only the third smartphone ever to get a five star TechRadar rating - the HTC One.
Its combination of impressive UI and stunning aluminium build means that it's not only the best HTC phone around, it's the best phone around, period.
The supreme aluminium chassis, the Full HD screen and the simplified version of Sense 5.0 sitting on top of Android Jelly Bean means it's a pleasure to use and recommend this handset.
With power, poise and beauty all combined in this innovative phone, HTC has proved it can still cut it with the big boys when it comes to a lust-worthy flagship smartphone - and it's also proved that it still knows how to beat the Samsungs and LGs of this world with ease.
