Can Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud give an outstanding US Open the sendoff it deserves? Iga Swiatek wrote her name into the history books by beating Ons Jabeur yesterday, and it's time for another new US Open champion to be crowned at Flushing Meadows. Play begins on Arthur Ashe Stadium at 4pm ET / 9pm BST, and you can read on to find out how to watch a 2022 US Open live stream from anywhere - including ways to watch the tennis absolutely FREE.

US Open live stream 2022

Dates: Monday, August 29 - Sunday, September 11

Daily start times: 4pm ET (local) / 1pm PT / 9pm BST / 6am AEST / 8am NZST

Venue: Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, Flushing Meadows, New York City

Like Jabeur, Ruud knows full well how it feels to lose a grand slam. The 23-year-old Norwegian came agonizingly close to glory at the French Open in June, only for it to slip away at the last, and having seen the pain etched over the Tunisian star's face last night, he'll be doubly determined not to let that happen again.

Alcaraz has never made it to this stage before, though he's long seemed destined for greatness. Will this be the first grand slam title of many for the 19-year-old? If he does manage it, he certainly wouldn't have done it the easy way.

Having come through three consecutive five-setters in the past three rounds, he's spent almost as much time on court this week as Ruud has over the course of the entire tournament. He's only young but so is Ruud, and Alcaraz's swashbuckling style is much more intensive than his opponent's more measured game.

It all comes down to this, so follow our guide as we explain how you can watch a 2022 US Open live stream from wherever you are.
