- Half Man episodes: Thursdays (US from April 23) & Fridays (RoW from April 24)
Richard Gadd clearly has no interest in making gentle, easy-to-watch TV, following up his massive Netflix hit Baby Reindeer with Half Man – another drama seeking to get under its viewers' skin.
Gadd's much-anticipated follow-up to Baby Reindeer sees the writer and creator again cast in the lead role. But his character here couldn't be much more different to wannabe comedian Donny; this time he plays intimidating criminal Ruben, and shares top billing with Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) as his half-brother Niall.
As seen in the Half Man trailer (which you can watch below), the two have a love-hate relationship. Ruben is the volatile ying to Niall's more timid yang, with traumas, friction and conflict from their past coming between them.
You can find out what we thought in our review, but expect another exploration of 21st century masculinity from Gadd's six-part series. Without further ado, here's how to watch Half Man online and for free, with episode 1 now available to watch for FREE on BBC iPlayer and TVNZ+.
