One of the best deals this Black Friday, this tiny device adds Alexa smarts to any car, giving you full hands-free access to all of the voice assistant's features. Play music, ask for directions, enjoy podcasts and audiobooks, and even fire up your smart thermostat so the house is nice and cosy when you get home.

If all that's not enough, the Amazon Echo Auto also comes with early access to Alexa+, so you can be among the first to try the new AI-enhanced assistant. Want to know more? Take a look at our complete guide to Alexa+ to find out what it can do for you.

Before you buy the Echo Auto, just make sure that your car is compatible. Amazon has put together a list of vehicles that are not compatible for you to check. These cars don't support the Echo Auto with Bluetooth, but you can still use it with an aux cable.

Also check that your phone is compatible. The requirements aren't very demanding. If you have a OnePlus phone, follow the instructions to turn off battery optimization settings that can stop the Echo Auto from working.
