Owning one of the best Apple Watches is all well and good, but even our best budget pick, the Apple Watch SE 3, costs £219. If that's too much, and you'd still like an attractive and capable smartwatch, I highly recommend the Huawei Watch Fit 3 at Amazon for £68.99 (was £99).

When I wrote my Huawei Watch Fit 3 review, I labelled it a cheaper Apple Watch alternative and a great fitness tracker with incredible battery life. I also gave it a solid 4.5 out of five stars, so you can tell how highly I rate it.

The £31 discount sees the smartwatch drop to a record-low price, meaning there's no better time to either buy your first-ever smartwatch or upgrade your current one to this excellent entry-level option that works with both iOS and Android devices.

Huawei's ultra-slim 1.82-inch AMOLED smartwatch boasts everything you could want from a smartwatch. You get health metrics, activity tracking, and notifications inside a very attractive case. If you want a budget smartwatch with all the essential features you need, this one could now be yours for a record-low price.

The Huawei Watch Fit 3 boasts a beautiful design and a bold display. It doesn't look the same as the Apple Watch SE 3, but it's not far off. The battery lasts an impressive 10 days with normal usage or seven days if you want to push it to the extreme. Either way, you won't be charging the device more than once a week.

As part of my review, I said that "It does a great job of blending smartwatch and fitness features to create a watch that will appeal to a broad audience. Unfortunately, it lacks a lot of features that amateur and pro athletes would require, but that aside, this is a good-looking watch with an admirable set of features".

The Fit 3 can display a reasonable amount of data, but if you really want to drill deep, then you'll need the Huawei Health App. The app makes it possible to access graphs and stats and customise your watch experience. This app is compatible with Android and iOS smartphones.
