Prime Day may be over, but you can still save £51 on the Garmin Vivoactive 5

Amazon Big Deal Days sale, better known as Prime Day, officially ended at midnight, but some of the deals are still active. Just like this one: the Garmin Vivoactive is still available, discounted from £259.99 to just £209.71 at Amazon. That's a saving of £51, which is not to be sniffed at, and cheaper than most comparable smartwatches.

Today's best Garmin Vivoactive 5 Prime Day deal
The Vivoactive 5 is Garmin's answer to the Apple Watch, the Pixel Watch or the Samsung Galaxy Watch: a long-lasting fitness tool with extensive health monitoring features, sleep logging, workout tracking and all of Garmin's usual fitness features, while retaining the look of a proper smartwatch. Save over 50 quid.
The Garmin Vivoactive 5 is a perfect alternative to the Apple Watch or a Samsung Galaxy Watch, and in some ways: it's even better: it lasts a full 11 days between charges instead of 24 hours, and it's got the excellent Garmin Connect app for all your fitness needs.
I'm a regular Garmin user, and I've personally tested the Garmin Vivoactive 5's workout tracking against the Apple Watch Ultra 2, finding it just as accurate. We called it "an excellent watch for those with an active lifestyle, who might not be power users or marathon runners" in our review, but it would certainly see you through to training for a first marathon, if you want to take on the challenge in 2026.

A smaller 35mm case with a unique patterned lens, the Lily is Garmin's attempt to make a daintier watch that still packs a lot of its fitness tools. You can save £40 on Amazon right now.
Most sizes of the Garmin Fenix 8 have small discounts, but by far the biggest is the 43mm version, which nets you a saving of over £100. I called the Fenix 8 "rugged, expensive perfection" in my review, and awarded it a perfect five stars. I'd recommend it to anyone with a larger budget and is looking for an all-terrain fitness companion.
