Summer has arrived, and if you're planning a camping trip or have a festival booked but are yet to sort your tent, now's the time. The Amazon Prime Day sales are just about to kick off, and a whole bunch of tents are discounted at Amazon. Even better, a load of other brands are running rival sales, which means there even more deals to choose from.

Brands like Coleman, Vango and Outwell are camping staples. With any of these names, you can expect a great quality product that has been thoughtfully designed for outdoor life. For festival-goers, I especially love the Coleman Octagon tent (now £174 at Amazon), with its super-sociable setup.
A hidden gem for bargain-hunters is the Quechua range at Decathlon. These tents are extremely affordable but still good quality, and tend to be very easy to pitch, too. Look for a 'Fresh & Black' model if you want to avoid waking at dawn.
