I’ve been reviewing cameras for 15 years – here are the Black Friday camera deals I’d buy today
Black Friday is so much more than a single day – the event effectively runs for over a week now, and there are top camera deals already live. And you've come to the right place to discover the best deals for the best camera gear – I have 15 years of experience reviewing cameras and the last three years covering every Black Friday and Amazon Prime Day sale event.
So which are my top picks? I reckon the Lumix S9 with 18-40mm lens for £1,099 at Amazon (UK) / Lumix S9 travel bundle with 28-200mm lens for $1,497 at B&H Photo (US) is excellent full-frame camera value. That camera is available in six different colorways too. There are also sizeable price cuts for Canon, Sony, Nikon, DJI, GoPro and more.
There's good news if you're in the US – I've found many tariff-beating prices that have smashed those in October's Prime Day sale. And I've only included current US and UK deals worth buying below, along with price history checks so you know the kind of deal you're getting. I'm regularly updating this page too with up to date prices and new deals too.
If you're looking for other deals, I've also compiled the best DJI deals, best 360 camera deals and best dash cam deals. You'll also find tech bargains over at TechRadar's Black Friday deals live coverage – that page is well worth stopping by.

The camera alone can be had for a little less, but this mega saving of $752.89 for this comprehensive travel photography bundle gets my nod. It comprises the Lumix S9 (in black), superzoom travel lens – check out our 28-200mm f4-7.1 review – LowePro backpack, memory card and Peak Design sling. This is an incredibly good deal.

5 out of 5 and Camera of the Year 2024 – that's how we rate the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, which has incredible autofocus, a stacked 45MP full-frame sensor, and clever new computational features. Overkill? Perhaps. However, professional photographers will love how this camera makes the most demanding of tasks easy. Today's discount isn't just a tariff-beating deal, but it's also $100 cheaper than the previous record-low.

If you're looking to save some cash, you could instead opt for the original EOS R5 - which is sitting at just $2,599 – that's a record-low, which makes it significantly cheaper than the second iteration. Sure, you're missing out on the latest computational and cutting-edge autofocus features here, but there's a reason this is such a popular camera with pros; it has that great 45MP full-frame sensor, 8k video, and excellent in-body image stabilization.

The EOS R6 Mark II was just succeeded by the EOS R6 Mark III, but it is still one of the best mirrorless hybrid cameras of the past few years. Our Canon EOS R6 II review awarded this excellent model an impressive four and half stars out of five, praising its autofocus, ISO handling, and burst shooting so it's an easy recommendation, even if it isn't the latest model anymore. For refeence, this camera has been $100 cheaper before, so today's deal isn't exactly ground-breaking.

Canon's low-cost full-frame RF-mount camera is now even cheaper with this decent Black Friday price cut. The EOS R8 packs many of the same features as the pricier EOS R6 II into a lighter body, including the 24.2MP sensor and 4K 60p video recording – see the key EOS R8 and EOS R6 Mark II differences. In short, you'll miss out on in-body image stabilization and sturdier build quality, but you make a huge saving. This price is a record-equalling low, and the lowest since tariff-related price hikes.

Even cheaper still is the EOS RP - Canon's entry-level full-frame camera and the cheapest new full-frame mirrorless camera from any brand. As you'd expect, the EOS RP is a pretty stripped-down affair. It doesn't feature the best video specs or image stabilization, for example. It does, however, feature a decent 26.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor, a lightweight build, and good autofocus for a body in this price range. This is a new record-low price, even beating the pre-tariff low of $799. An excellent value deal.

The A7 IV is highly likely to be replaced by a new fifth-generation model soon, but we still absolutely rate it as a fantastic choice for both stills and video work. With an excellent 33MP full-frame sensor and game-changing auto-focus system, it's hard to believe you can get all that goodness for such a low price. Now is a great time to consider making the switch since this excellent flagship is currently sitting at its lowest ever price.

If resolution matters to you, then the Sony A7R V is hard to beat with its 61MP sensor. You'll need some high-level glass to truly harness the full resolving power of the A7R V, but its handy eight-stop image stabilization and superb tracking autofocus make it highly usable camera for professional landscape, product, or studio work. Today's price at Adorama and B&H Photo brings the body right down to its lowest ever price, too.

The stunning OM System OM-3, released earlier this year, gets a decent $200 price cut. While it's still pricey, you get the same speedy stacked 20MP Micro Four Thirds sensor as the flagship OM System OM-1 Mark II, intelligent subject-tracking autofocus, and up to 50FPS continuous burst. All that is wrapped up in a design that we think stands out as one of the most appealing on the market right now. Today's price cut has only been beaten on one occasion, when the OM3 was $50 cheaper via a coupon.

Classic retro style, full frame 24MP sensor, Nikon's best in-body image stabilisation, smart manual focus controls, and a dedicated black and white color mode – all for a record-low price. The retro-style camera market is big business and it attracts larger-than-life price tags. However, Nikon's Zf packs a technological punch alongside producing excellent image quality. The record-low for this model is technically $1,799, but today's price is the best I've seen since the Zf was hit with those annoying tariff price hikes a few months ago.

TechRadar's top camera of 2025, the Nikon Z6 III, is available for a record-low price at several retailers right now. This fantastic mirrorless camera is the latest model from the brand and features an impressive 24.5MP full-frame partially stacked sensor with vastly improved autofocus and 6K video up to 60fps. Our Nikon Z6 III review awarded the camera a full five stars out of five, and it feels like excellent value now, thanks to a massive price cut at B&H Photo and other retailers.

The Nikon Z5 II took the TechRadar Camera of the Year 2025 award, but sadly since then it has been hit with hefty price hikes. Black Friday is good timing, then, because right now, you can pick the Z5 II up for a brand-new record-low price at Adorama and B&H Photo. I loved this model when I reviewed it and it's a fantastic choice if you're looking for a fully-featured full-frame camera that doesn't break the bank. As an entry point to the excellent Z-mount ecosystem, the Z5 II offers fantastic image quality, decent video, and similar autofocus performance to the much pricier high-end Z models.

The Z30 was already Nikon's cheapest mirrorless camera before any sale price, and now there's $150 off with the excellent 16-50mm kit lens. The best price I've seen is another $100 less, but even still this is excellent value when you consider what else is available at this price point. Primarily designed for beginner vloggers, the Z30 features excellent 4K video, a flip-out touchscreen, plus a dedicated mic port. A lack of a viewfinder means this isn't the best for dedicated photographers, however.

DJI's best-selling Osmo Pocket 3 is a compact 4K vlogging gimbal-stabilized camera with neat swivel screen for vertical or horizontal shooting and easy syncing with wireless mics (you can also buy the Pocket w Creator Combo with a DJI Mic). Pocket 3 launched in 2023 for $519, but that price rose as the product's popularity grew and DJI / US relations soured. And given most DJI products aren't launching in the US these days – including the rumored Pocket 4 – the chance to grab the Osmo Pocket 3 for around its original price is an opportunity worth taking.

DJI burst onto the 360 camera scene with the Osmo 360 in July, and it's already on sale for $357.49 – smashing the best price for the rival Insta360 X5 and GoPro Max. With 360 cameras, however, you will ideally grab essential extras – at the least want DJI's selfie stick. Alternatively, there's the pricier Adventure Combo bundle for $454.99 (was $699.99) which includes three batteries, a charging hub and a selfie stick in addition to the Osmo 360 camera.

Despite being superseded by 5th and 6th generation models, the Osmo Action 4 packs many of the same features for a lower price, and is still a seriously capable action camera with 4K video and waterproofing up to 18m. The Essential Combo is down to $199 – matching the lowest price on record. Meanwhile, the Adventure Combo is $309.

GoPro has improved on the $50 price cut for the Max 2 from earlier this week to $100 off – these are the first price cuts on GoPro's latest 360 camera. It costs less than the Insta360 X5. B&H Photo is price matching GoPro too.

My favorite 360 camera overall gets it biggest price cut to date – the previous low was $519.99. And with swappable lenses, it could be better value than DJI in the long run, especially for gung ho users. It's now also available in white for the same price, via the same link.
This deal is also available at the Insta360 store.

The X3 is now two generations old and tops out at 5.7K video, whereas its successors can shoot 8K. However, don't write the X3 off – its still an excellent 360 camera, with the same powerful Insta360 image stabilization, 33ft / 10m waterproofing, bullet time and time shift modes, editing software and handy accessories. This is still a better camera than Akaso's 360, and my top budget pick.
You can grab the same price at the Insta360 store.

At first I didn't like the Lumix S9, but it has grown on me since firmware updates fixed some issues and with healthy price cuts. For me, the bundle with the 18-40mm lens makes the most sense because of pair's compact dimensions and light weight, now available for a record-low price. However, if you don't mind chunkier lenses, you'll get better quality and versatility from the likes of the 20-60mm f/3.5-5.6 or 28-200mm f/4-7.1. Don't need a lens? The Lumix S9 body only costs just £899.

Not the very best price I've seen – which was £1,629 including cash back earlier this year. However, £1,747 for the A7 IV, which includes £150 cashback, is sill a decent deal for the 33MP full-frame hybrid. Rumors are strong for the A7 V successor, though, so if you want the latest gear – which will cost more – you might want to hold out.

Jessops is having an impressive Black Friday sale, especially with this record-low price for the Nikon Z6 III, now just £1,799. In my Nikon Z6 III review, I awarded the superb hybrid camera five stars out of five, and as a Nikon Z6 II owner, it gave me all the reasons I needed to upgrade, including its 24.5MP full-frame partially stacked sensor with vastly improved autofocus and 6K video up to 60fps. It also sits in top spot of my best cameras guide.

Combine a £150 saving with £500 cashback at Jessops, and you get the OM1 II for a record-low price of £1,549. I'm a big fan of the Micro Four Thirds camera, which we called 'mind-blowingly capable in our OM System OM-1 II review. It packs a 20MP BSI Micro Four Thirds sensor with class-leading stabilization, blazingly quick shooting speeds and a host of innovative built-in computational photography features. The retro-style camera is a superb option for adventure, wildlife, landscape and travel photographers looking to cut a bulky kit bag down to size.

The Nikon Z8 is the best full-frame hybrid camera for pros - and beats it's rivals for value – the Canon EOS R5 Mark II and Sony A1 II – especially at this record-equalling low price of £2,800 at Park Cameras. Nikon's flagship model packs 45.7MP stacked sensor, 8K video capabilities and 20fps burst shooting, convincing me to give it a full five stars out of five in my Z8 review. I'm super tempted to trade in my Z6 II and upgrade.

I reckon this is the best action camera deal for Black Friday 2025 so far – just £159 for the Standard Combo. That beats the previous low price of £175. The Adventure Combo is also on sale for £259 (was £379) – that's another record-low price for a bundle which includes two additional batteries and charging case.

There's a reason that the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a best-selling vlogging camera: gimbal-stabilized 4K video, compact design, ease of use, swivel monitor, pro audio mic pairing – that's everything a content creator on the go needs. A word of warning though, there are heavy rumors of a DJI Osmo Pocket 4 on the horizon, so if you want the latest and greatest tech you might want to hold out, even if it will likely cost more.

DJI broke cover with its first 360 camera just two months ago, and the Osmo 360 is already on sale for £296. I'd recommend extras to get the most out of the device, like DJI's selfie stick, which you'll get it in the pricier Adventure Combo bundle for £395 (was £539.99), along with three batteries and a charging hub, in addition to the Osmo 360 camera itself of course.

DJI's recently supplanted flagship still rivals the GoPro Hero 13 Black with an excellent featureset and impressive battery life, and it costs much less now in this Essential Combo for £239 – smashing the previous low price of £267. What the dickens? There's a hug £200 off the six years old GoPro Max, making it the world's most affordable 360 camera. Despite its age, the Max still performs well, shooting crisp 5.7K 360 video and is an excellent value pick with this huge price cut. Naturally, it is directly compatible with GoPro's vast range of accessories.

I loved reviewing the thumb-sized Insta360 Go 3S – it's an incredibly fun 4K camera for the whole family which can slot into small spaces, go underwater, clip to your pet's collar or attach magnetically for unique POVs. This package includes the Action Pod for better battery life and remote viewing (though the Action Pod isn't waterproof). The Go 3S is still the latest model in the range, and has now fallen to record low price. Again, the same price is available at the Insta360 store. The price is for the 64GB model, and there is a pricier 128GB version available if you prefer.
