If you've been planning on upgrading to 4K drone videography, then you're probably expecting it to be well out of your budget. Think again. Thanks to a New Year's deal, you can grab the highly rated DJI Mini 4K at Amazon for £215 (was £269).
The DJI Mini 4K continues to be our favourite budget option when it comes to the best drones. For the money, you'll get 4K UHD resolution support and a 31-minute maximum flight time. And if it's slow-mo footage you love, then you can capture up to 60fps at 2.7K resolution.
This is a fantastic low price for an excellent beginner drone. In fact, it's only ever been £6 cheaper, so this is extremely close to a record-low price. Snap it up while you can.
Today's best DJI drone deal
An awesome price for an excellent 4K drone, one battery, and an RC-N1C controller. That's everything you need to be up and running in no time at all. If you've been thinking of buying a drone for a while but never taking the leap, now is the best time to go all in.
Budget 4K drones don't get much better than the DJI Mini 4K. We love it so much that we rated it 4.5 out of five stars. Considering five-star ratings are only very rarely given out, this number of stars shows how good it is. Our cameras editor, Timothy Coleman, loves the excellent value and 4K video quality that beats rivals.
It's worth pointing out that the drone doesn't feature object collision sensors or subject tracking, but at this price, that's no surprise. If you plan on being in the open air with simple flight routes, then you won't be missing out.
That being said, there's a lot to commend about the DJI Mini 4K, including 2x video support, Level 5 wind resistance and dynamic movements such as Helix, Circle and Boomerang. You'll look like a pro without having to pay for the privilege.
This is a seriously good deal, but if you'd like to explore other options, then we recommend checking out our comprehensive best drones guide. We also have a dedicated guide to the best DJI drones if you're set on the DJI brand.
