That’s an incredible 40% off the LS650, which hasn’t seen substantial discounts since we first reviewed it back in early 2024. At that price, you’ll have enough money to afford a separate screen, which will let you get the best image quality from Epson’s entry-level ultra short throw model.

The Epson LS650 has an impressive specified brightness of 3,600 lumens and can beam images from 60 to 120 inches. It's built-in speakers deliver decent-quality sound, and it has dual HDMI ports, including one with eARC, so you can connect a soundbar or powered speakers for even better sound.

In our Epson LS650 review, we commended it for its picture, which is bright enough to hold up in daylight viewing, and there’s sufficient contrast that you won’t necessarily feel the need to darken your room. Fan noise is a bit high, but that’s the price you pay for getting a picture this bright from a projector.

One nitpick we had with the LS650 was its sluggish Android TV OS. That’s a problem that can be easily overcome by pairing the LS650 with one of the best streaming devices, any of which should give you superior streaming and navigation performance.

If you're sold, you'll want to add Epson's LS650 to your cart soon to score it for 40% at $1,499.99 as Amazon's Prime Day comes to a close in just a few hours.
