If you're looking for a video doorbell that's affordable and won't tie you into a costly monthly subscription, you're in luck. I'm TechRadar's smart home tech expert, and one of my top recommended models is less than half price in Amazon's Presidents' Day sale. If you move quickly, you can grab the Eufy Video Doorbell Dual for just $89.99 (was $199.99), or get it bundled together with the Eufy Homebase hub for $149.99 (was $259.99).
This doorbell received a near-perfect four and a half stars in our review thanks to its "clear, super-detailed footage" from its twin cameras, and its ability to identify people and packages without the need for a paid membership plan. Opt for the bundle with the Eufy Homebase Hub, and you'll also get 16GB local storage for your videos so you can scroll back and check them any time, and they're never out of your control.

Today's best Eufy Video Doorbell Dual deals
This wireless video doorbell is one of the best we've tested at TechRadar, and is packed with features that would usually be hidden behind a paywall, including package alerts and dual person-detection that picks up both heat and movement to prevent false alerts.
Save $110 when you pick up the doorbell bundled together with the Eufy Homebase and you'll get 16GB of internal storage for your video files, which is expandable up to 16TB if you connect an external hard drive. It also gives you AI-powered person detection, which can identify familiar faces, for no extra cost.
During testing we were particularly impressed by the Eufy Video Doorbell Dual's AI smarts. These are available via the Homebase, and mean the doorbell doesn't just alert you when a person arrives, but can also identify familiar visitors.
"We were able to tag faces and then found that the assigned name was displayed in any notification sent when they’d been spotted by the camera," said our reviewer Carrie-Ann Skinner.

"On test, this proved extremely effective — the camera identified the correct person during testing, and didn’t issue any false positives. It also meant we were able to get the required information quickly from glancing at a notification, rather than needing to review the footage itself."
Fewer false positives means you'll get fewer false alerts on your phone, and the doorbell's battery life will be extended as its recording is triggered less often. It's a great feature, particularly without a subscription, and helped earn this device a place in our roundup of the best video doorbells you can buy today.
