Your KitchenAid stand mixer can do a lot more than just knead bread, mix cake batter, and whip cream. With the right add-ons it can also make ice cream, zucchini noodles, and even flour – and all the attachments you need are going cheap in the Presidents' Day sale at Best Buy.
I've owned a KitchenAid Artisan mixer for 13 years, and my personal favorite accessory is the KitchenAid Ice Cream Maker Attachment, which is now $86.99 (was $119.99) in the Presidents' Day sale – cheaper than a good quality standalone ice cream machine. Once you've frozen the specially designed bowl, you're ready to add your ingredients and use the churning attachment to turn them into delicious, smooth ice cream or sorbet in under half an hour.
I also love the KitchenAid Spiralizer Attachment, down to $89.99 (was $129.99) at Best Buy, which comes with four different blades to spiralize and peel all kinds of fruit and vegetables. It's a great way to make stir fries and salads more interesting (spiralized carrot, anyone?) and is handy for peeling large quantities of veg for soups and stews.

Thinking about replacing your food processor? Not so fast – this clever attachment uses the power of your KitchenAid mixer to slice, grate, and julienne vegetables and hard cheese as effectively as a standalone appliance, at a fraction of the size and far more cheaply. It's a great value at full price, and with $40 off right now, it's easy to recommend.

There's nothing quite like fresh home-made pasta, and with this KitchenAid attachment you don't need to worry about rolling it by hand, or finding a place to clamp a pasta roller onto your kitchen counter. Best Buy has given this super versatile roller a 26% price cut for Presidents' Day so you can make your own pasta sheets, fettuccine, and spaghetti. Delizioso!

Love zucchini noodles, straw potatoes, or coleslaw? This KitchenAid attachment comes with four blades to make light work of any fruit or vegetable you can throw at it, and it's received a healthy $40 discount at Best Buy. A great way to get more veggies in your diet without spending ages prepping them with a knife.

This is my personal favorite KitchenAid attachment, and it's a steal at under $90. It consists of a specially designed bowl for your ingredients that you place in the freezer ahead of time, and a churning attachment that mixes everything while spreading it over the chilled bowl to make perfectly smooth ice cream. It costs far less than a good quality standalone ice cream maker, and won't take over your kitchen counter.

Yes, with this compact attachment, you can use your KitchenAid stand mixer to grind your own flour from wheat, oats, corn, rice, or any other non-oily grain. Particularly handy if you're avoiding gluten or want to get creative with baking – and it's $50 off for Presidents' Day.
Note that these deals don't include the stand mixer itself – only the attachments. If you're looking for a great deal on a mixer, take a look at KitchenAid's Valentine's Day sale on countertop appliances, which includes quite a selection.
