What is the release date for IT: Welcome to Derry episode 2 on HBO Max?

Those excited for more IT: Welcome to Derry are in luck, as HBO Max has decided to move the second episode forward.

The news was confirmed in a press release, where HBO Max, one of the best streaming services, announced it would be streaming episode 2 earlier than planned, giving fans an extra treat this Halloween.

IT: Welcome to Derry episode 2 arrives earlier than expected with US fans able to stream it on Max on October 31. It will be on the streaming service from 12:00am PT/3:00am ET.

Alternatively, you can watch it on Sunday, November 2 on HBO, where it will air in its usual time slot of 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

But, if you ask me, I think you should check it out sooner rather than later as I called it a "welcome expansion of Stephen King’s huge novel" in my IT: Welcome to Derry review.

Subsequent episodes of the eight-episode season will continue to air Sundays on HBO and HBO Max leading all the way up to the season finale on Sunday, December 14.

Sadly, it seems they're making an exception for Halloween and following episodes won't be dropped early, but episode 2 is excellent and I hope you'll be spending your Halloween watching it because it's sure to chill you to the bone.
