The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 was last year’s best folding phone, and remains a powerful and polished experience for those who literally want more from their mobile experience. Though its discounted price tag of £999 might seem expensive compared to some other Black Friday deals, it’s a genuinely fantastic price for a premium booklet-style folding phone.
What’s more, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is now discontinued, having been replaced this year by the Galaxy Z Fold 7, so this could be your last chance to score a deal on this dual-screened device.
Today's best Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Black Friday deal
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 was one of the best phones in its release year of 2024, and now it's one of the best Black Friday deals of 2025. This discount knocks £800 off the original retail price of this now-discontinued folding phone, so if you want to get your hands on this dual-screened device, there's never been a better time.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 may be discontinued and just over a year old, but it’s still a profoundly powerful smartphone. As with any folding phone, the big ticket item is the pair of displays the phone comes equipped with – a 6.3-inch cover screen and 7.6-inch folding inner display, giving you a mini tablet that folds up into a pocketable form factor.
Under those displays, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chipset, a specially tuned version of the best previous-generation Android chipset. It’s also got 12GB of RAM, giving you plenty of memory for multitasking on that large inner display, playing the best mobile games, or making the most of the Google Gemini and Galaxy AI tools on offer.
And flipping over to the rear panel, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 comes with a triple camera setup that is still one of the best camera systems on any folding phone, with a 50MP wide camera, 12MP ultra-wide camera, and 10MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom.
Keeping the phone powered is a 4,400mAh battery, which might not seem like the biggest cell for a large-screened device, but kept us going through a full day of use for our Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 review. And for artists and note-takers, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is compatible with the S Pen Fold Edition – support for which was actually removed from the current-generation Galaxy Z Fold 7.

The Pixel 9a delivers with its bold design, impressive performance, and useful AI features, meaning it has all the makings of a solid budget phone from the manufacturer. This £150 saving brings the handset down to a record-low price. It's older now, but this is still a good time to upgrade if you've had your eye on a budget-friendly handset.
The Google Pixel 10 is £200 off in this Black Friday deal at Currys, which is a bigger discount than we'd normally expect to see on a recently-released flagship phone. The Google Pixel 10 launched in August, with a beautiful 6.3-inch display, a compact frame, extended battery life, a new telephoto camera, and support for magnetic PixelSnap accessories. Seeing such a big discount so soon after launch is rare.
The four-star iPhone 16e is a mixed bag of hardware power, but it's an excellent choice if you're after a powerful, unfussy device that'll see you through the next few years – especially at this record-low price. It features the A18 chipset, which is the most powerful chipset available at this price point, as well as Apple Intelligence support. You'll have to make do with a 60Hz notched display and only a single camera, but the latter is the only real downgrade versus the full-fat iPhone 16.
