Has Prime Day already begun? Amazon devices are 63% off – here's what I'm buying
Ring Doorbells. Fire TV Sticks, Blink security cameras, TVs, and more from $17.99

Amazon is getting a head start on its upcoming October Prime Day sale (scheduled for October 7–8) by releasing early deals right now. While I'm usually not impressed with its early offers, I advise waiting for the official sale; Amazon's device deals are very good.
The retailer is offering up to 63% its best-selling devices, with new record-low prices starting at just $17.99. You can find discounts on everything from popular Fire TV Sticks, all-new Blink security cameras, Ring Doorbells, and top-rated 4K and QLED Fire TVs.
As TechRadar's deals editor who's always shopping for the best of the best Amazon smart home gadgets, I've listed Amazon's 17 best device deals that I'd buy with my own money.
My must-have gadgets include the Blink Mini 2 security camera, on sale for a must-have price at just $19.99, and the all-new Blink Video Doorbell on sale for only $34.99.
If you're looking for outdoor security, Amazon has a massive 61% discount on the popular Blink Outdoor Camera, down to $74.99, and the Ring Spotlight Cam Plus, on sale for its lowest price ever of $89.99.
Other deals in my cart include the Fire TV Stick HD for only $17.99 and this Insignia 50-inch 4K Fire TV on sale for an incredible price of $179.99.
Keep in mind that most of today's early Prime Day deals are on sale for the lowest-ever prices, and I can't imagine you'll find bigger discounts at Amazon's official October Prime Day sale.

Need a cheap streaming device to add smart capabilities to a TV? The new version of Amazon's standard Fire TV Stick is half price when you apply the code HDFTVADD at checkout. In our Fire TV Stick review, we found the original version was a cheap way to add essential smart features to your TV, including access to streaming apps in HD, Alexa voice controls, and the ability to control other smart home devices.
The 4K Fire TV Cube is Amazon's fastest-ever streaming media player, functioning as a smart speaker that allows you to control your smart home devices. The Fure TV Cube features Dolby Vision, HDR, and Dolby Atmos support, and works with Amazon Alexa for hands-free control
The Amazon Fire TV Soundbar is an excellent starter soundbar thanks to its affordability, compact size, and convenience. It has a plug-and-play setup that just needs you to connect an HDMI cable between the bar and TV. As a soundbar, it uses technology like DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio for movies and shows so that the audio sounds more "in the room" than built-in TV speakers could manage. For less than $100, it's a reasonable upgrade for avid TV watchers who want to listen to more detailed audio.
Amazon's cheapest TV deal is this 24-inch Insignia HD smart TV on sale for just $69.99 – an unheard-of price. This is a fantastic deal if you're looking to add a smaller display to your dorm room. While the Insignia F20 Series lacks 4K resolution, you're getting the Fire TV experience built in and an Alexa voice remote.
Amazon's best-selling 40-inch 2-Series HD smart TV is down to just $179.99 in today's early sale. While the Amazon 2-Series TV lacks 4K resolution, it offers smart capabilities through the Fire TV experience and Amazon Alexa, providing hands-free control.
If you're looking for a mid-size budget TV, this Insignia 50-inch display is an incredible deal at only $149.99. The Insignia F50 Series TV features 4K HD resolution, DTS Studio Sound, smart capabilities with the Fire operating system, and a voice remote with hands-free Alexa, so you can use your voice to control your TV.
This brand-new version of the Amazon Fire TV 4-Series is on sale for only $389.99. The mid-sized 4K display supports HDR 10, offering a sharp, clear, and vibrant image for TV shows, movies, and sports. All major streaming apps are ready to go, too, plus there's voice control support through Alexa. It's an all-around solid TV for the price if you need an affordable and capable display.
