Grab this cheap but handy Anker power bank for under $20 on Amazon
The lowest-ever price for this super-cheap power bank
Power banks are one of the most useful gadgets to take on a trip, especially if you foresee being away from a reliable power outlet for hours at a time. You don't need to pay much for one, either. Right now, you can get this Anker PowerCore 10K at Amazon for $15.59 (was $25.99).
Anker is the producer of some of our best power banks, including the Anker MagGo Power Bank (10K Slim) and Anker 737 Power Bank (PowerCore 24K). This model of the Anker PowerCore Slim doesn't have as many capabilities as the best of the best, but it does offer 10000mAh of charge for the low, low price of about 15 dollars – a bargain.
Today's best cheap Anker power bank deal
The Anker PowerCore Slim 10K is exactly what it sounds like: a lightweight, sleek power bank that holds up to 10,000mAh of charge. For its lowest price yet, you can keep several hours of battery life tucked into your pocket for any occasion. The exact amount varies by device, but it claims to hold up to two full charges for an iPhone 15, 1.93 charges for a Galaxy S23, and 1.23 charges for an iPad mini 6. It has three ports, including an input-only micro USB, an input/output USB-C, and an output-only USB-A port. With that in mind, it should be compatible with most devices and can charge using both the micro USB and USB-C if needed. For $15, why not?
The PowerCore Slim 10,000 weighs 8.6 oz and, true to its name, measures 5.99 by 2.81 inches and 0.61 inches thick. (It weighs less than half as much as my old Anker 337 Power Bank (PowerCore 26K), which I lovingly call "the brick").
We haven't done a formal review of the PowerCore Slim 10,000, but it holds about as much charge as the Anker PowerCore Redux 10,000 charger that we did test. As per our reviewer's estimate, that should be enough to charge a Google Pixel 7a at least three times. Anker itself claims in the marketing that the PowerCore Slim 10,000 can charge an iPhone 15 twice, a Galaxy S23 up to 1.93 times and an iPad mini 6 up to 1.23 times, which seems to line up with what we saw when testing.
The PowerCore Slim 10,000 features three ports: one micro USB port exclusively for charging the power bank itself, a USB-C port that supports both input and output, and one USB-A port with only output. You can use both the micro USB and USB-C for recharging the power bank, but you only need to use one of them if you want to. If you use both, it can help speed up the process, though.
Need more juice? If so, I'd recommend looking into the Anker 20,000mAh 87W Power Bank, which one of our writers used to quadruple the battery life of his Nintendo Switch 2. I'd also recommend browsing our best power banks and best portable power stations.
