The Google Pixel 10 is expected to be revealed in a matter of days, but if you're not fussed about having the very latest tech and want value for money instead, then you'll want to check out this saving on Google's current flagship smartphone. Right now, you can get the Google Pixel 9 at Amazon for $599 (was $799).

This is a return to the lowest price so far for the Pixel 9, and well worth the money for anyone thinking of switching to a new mid-range and well-priced smartphone. The device packs plenty of value under $600, including excellent performance, some terrific cameras, and advanced Gemini AI features.

There’s a reason we named the Google Pixel 9 the best Pixel and best Android phone for everybody. In our Google Pixel 9 review, we highlight its impressive overall performance, the suite of AI features for writing messages and editing photos, and at least seven years of planned updates, which guarantee longevity.

AI features include Gemini Live for transcribing what you say instead of typing. Another example, Pixel Screenshots, identifies key information from pictures and screenshots, generates summaries about them, and even makes suggestions when applicable.

The Pixel 9 also boasts an impressive camera with a 50MP main sensor and a 48MP ultrawide camera with Macro Focus, which makes it easier to take detailed close-up photos. The AI upscaling and editing options also make it ideal for post-processing. The Pixel 9 doesn’t beat the (much more expensive) iPhone 15 Pro, but it’s more than enough for a casual photographer.

The Google Pixel 9 more than fulfills the needs an average person would have. However, if you want the best of the best, I’d advise looking into the Google Pixel 9 Pro, too.
