To make matters worse, the Twitter account is also reporting that users are experiencing issues while trying to access support.xbox.com (opens in new tab), meaning impatient Xbox gamers will have to rely on Twitter for updates on the outage.

As noted by The Verge (opens in new tab), the outage tracking website Down Detector revealed a large spike in users reporting Xbox Live outages at around 5:10pm EST.
Unfortunately, the only thing we can do now is wait for the Xbox team to sort out the problem. As always, we'll keep you posted on the matter.
