Apple today announced the updates to their iPad Pro, iPad and Apple TV 4K line up. Here's a quick look at the updates on the new products and their pricing here in the UAE.
Apple iPad Pro 2022
The new iPad Pro will come powered by the M2 chip announced by Apple earlier this year. The very same chip we find in the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro available right now. The M2 chipset will be able to handle the demanding workflows, from photographers editing massive photo libraries and designers manipulating complex 3D objects, to healthcare professionals taking advanced imaging and analysis, to gamers enjoying graphics-intensive games.
Among this years many updates to the iPad Pro, there were two main ones. Firstly, the Apple Pencil now supports 'hovering'. Get your pencil close enough to the display (up to 12mm) and it'll enable great precision showing you where your pencil even before it hits the display. Next up, we've got ProRes capture and support. For the first time, users can capture ProRes video and transcode ProRes footage up to 3x faster, enabling content creators to capture, edit, and publish cinema-grade video from a single device out in the field. The iPad Pro also now support WiFi 6E.
New features in iPadOS 16 include Stage Manager, full external display support, desktop-class apps, and Reference Mode — elevate the iPad Pro experience.
Apple iPad Pro price and availability
The new iPad Pro is available in silver and space gray finishes with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB configurations. The 11-inch iPad Pro starts at AED 3,299 for the Wi-Fi model and AED 3,899 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, while the 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at AED 4,599 for the Wi-Fi model, and AED 5,199 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model.
Orders begin today, October 18th, with availability in stores beginning Wednesday, October 26.
Apple iPad (10th generation)
The base iPad from Apple gets a huge upgrade (well deserved and much needed) this time around. The new iPad comes with a completely new design in four bold new colors, and a larger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display.
A much requested change on the new iPad is the placement of the front camera. The front-facing camera is now located along the landscape edge, so a user will always be looking directly toward the camera when on video calls.
Other updates include the A14 Bionic chipset, 5G, Wi-Fi6 and an updated 12MP rear camera which records videos up to 24fps.

Wi-Fi models of the new iPad are available with a starting price of AED 1,849, and Wi-Fi + Cellular models start at AED 2,449. The new iPad, in 64GB and 256GB configurations, comes in blue, pink, yellow, and silver.

Apple iPad 10th generation - Accessories
One thing missing missing from the base iPad experience for a long time was a keyboard. While there were third-party options, there wasn't anything directly from Apple. Well that changes with the 10th generation base iPad.
The new Magic Keyboard Folio for the Apple iPad comes with a full size keyboard, 1mm travel, a large trackpad, full size keys and a connector for the size of the iPad.
While that is good news, unfortunately the 10th gen iPad will still only have capability for the first generation Apple Pencil which is just a bit ridiculous now.

The new Magic Keyboard Folio designed for the new iPad is available for AED 999 and comes in white. Orders begin Tuesday, October 18th, with availability in stores beginning Wednesday, October 26.
Apple TV 4K 2022
The new Apple TV 4K is now powered by the A15 Bionic chip that delivers faster performance and supports HDR10+, adding to Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 7.1, or Dolby Digital 5.1 and surround sound.

Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi), which offers 64GB of storage, is available for AED 529. Apple TV 4K (Wi-Fi + Ethernet), which offers support for Gigabit Ethernet for fast networking and streaming, Thread mesh networking protocol to connect even more smart home accessories, and twice the storage for apps and games (128GB), is available for AED 599.
Orders begin today, with availability beginning Friday, November 4.
