Not every smartwatch has to cost the earth, as evidenced by the fact that you can snap up the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 at Amazon for just £39 (was £59). At this price, hey, why not buy one for yourself and another for someone you love?

As well as health and fitness tracking, one of the Galaxy Fit3's standout features is the large 1.6-inch AMOLED display, which clearly and neatly shows all your key health and fitness metrics at a glance. It also features a 5ATM waterproof rating, so you can use it no matter the weather.

We're also big fans of the sleep tracking, which tracks blood oxygen levels through the night and delivers reports on how you slept. Beyond that, there's a very good battery life of up to 13 days, notification support, and music controls built in. Not bad for less than £40.

Samsung Galaxy Fit3: was £59 now £39 at Amazon

The Fit3 was already at the very affordable end of the smartwatch market, but with a £20 discount, it's now ludicrously cheap. With a reasonably sized AMOLED display and all the health and fitness tracking features you'd expect from a smartwatch at this price, it's a great choice for most casual users looking for an inexpensive alternative to the likes of Apple and Garmin.

In our Samsung Galaxy Fit3 review, we rated the popular smartwatch four out of five stars. We said that "this Samsung-centric device keeps the health insights sleek and simple" and is "impressively cheap for the sheer amount of features it packs."

At the heart of the Fit3 is health monitoring and fitness tracking, which is all brought together into a small and intuitive interface. Launching activities is simple and quick, with engaging graphics and readouts helping you keep track of your performance.

The Fit3 boasts a responsive 1.6-inch AMOLED display and a flexible silicone strap, which is "well-made and durable enough to withstand the elements, sweat and tough workouts." You'll also find a 5ATM waterproof rating, which provides peace of mind when swimming and showering.

With this deal, the Fit3 is one of the best budget options around at the moment. But if you'd like something more premium or targeted towards runners, then have a look at our guides to the best smartwatches and best running watches.
