Black Friday laptop deals are live: I've hand-picked the 20 best from Amazon, Dell, Newegg, and more

If you've been thinking about picking up a new laptop over Black Friday, then it's worth checking out the myriad early sales events that are already live this weekend. Best Buy, Newegg, Dell, and Lenovo all have huge seasonal sales right now, to name just a few.

In fact, regardless of whether you're looking for a super-cheap Chromebook or a shiny new MacBook, there are plenty of record-low prices available today. I've been busy scanning through listings, and I've already found some amazing deals on laptops that we've personally reviewed here at TechRadar.

<p>I'm usually wary of recommending super-cheap Chromebooks, but at half price, it's hard to complain with this deal on the Acer 315. This is a very basic model that's intended for the basics, but for simply browsing, streaming, and perhaps answering a few emails, then this is a good option. If you need a cheap laptop for school, then I could see this being another strong option.

<p>If you want something cheap and lightweight, then this Asus Vivobook 14 at Best Buy is a good option. At 14-inches, it's a little smaller and more portable than the 15.6-inch models that are commonly found at this price point. Specs-wise, this model is pretty impressive too. Under the hood, a combination of a Core i5 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD means that this is a great option if you just want to cover the basics.

It's a little pricey, but you get 32GB of RAM and a much better 1600p display – something that you can't simply upgrade yourself down the line.

<p>This Gigabyte A16 at Newegg is just about the cheapest gaming laptop you'll find anywhere with an RTX 5070 graphics card. Annoyingly, you do only get 16GB of RAM in this configuration, which feels quite stingy on a machine that still costs over $1,000. The Core i7 chipset is an older version too, which again is another sacrifice for getting such a powerful graphics card at this budget.

Even better still, you get an impressive 16-inch 240Hz OLED display here, which just makes this machine even more premium.

<p>Razer gaming laptops are always going to be niche buys, considering you pay a lot for the brand and design, but this is definitely a good deal. It's a record-low price on the latest 14-inch Blade 14 model, which features a very slick and portable design, OLED display, and a decent RTX 5070 graphics card. I have an older 13-inch model, and I do recommend Razer's laptops under the proviso that you should know you're paying extra here for the high-end MacBook-like design.
