BestBuy is selling a $999 MacBook Air for $749 in its Cyber Monday sales

Cyber Monday deals are here, which means it's a great time to buy a fantastic laptop for less. Case in point, you can get the MacBook Air M4 for $749 (was $999) at Best Buy. But hurry, as I've seen a similar deal go out of stock pretty quickly at Amazon, so I have a feeling that this deal won't stick around for long either.

This is my favorite model because it gives you a little bit of everything: great performance, awesome portability, a fantastic display, and an affordable price tag.

I'm a MacBook Air M2 user, so I've not used the latest M4 model. But not a lot has changed externally from the M2, which I use pretty much every day and haven't yet been let down by it; the keyboard, trackpad, display, fan-less design are all great, and the battery life is superb.

The M4 MacBook Air, as its name would suggest, swaps the M2 chip for the M4, offering more power and efficiency. Basically, the M4 MacBook Air is the current pinnacle for everyday slim-and-light laptops, and at under $750, it's basically a no-brainer purchase this Cyber Monday.

But don't take my word for it. Apple's latest 14-inch MacBook Pro is down to the lowest price I've ever seen it at, thanks to Cyber Monday. If you already have an excellent M4 MacBook, you don't have a major reason to upgrade to the M5. But, if you're still rocking an M2, or even an Intel-based MacBook, this is an excellent opportunity to get a much-needed performance boost at a very reasonable price. This configuration comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, but you can double the storage to 1TB for an extra $200.
