Lenovo gaming laptops are up to $900 off right now - these are the RTX 5070, 5060, and 5050 models I'd buy personally

There's a pretty amazing deal floating around the various editorial sites that cover gaming laptop deals right now - one that I think is probably the best I've seen since Black Friday.

It's a coupon code that you can currently use over at the official Lenovo Store to knock upwards of a $900 off the brand's LOQ and Legion models.

My favorite gaming laptop deals at Lenovo today

Lenovo LOQ gaming laptop
Lenovo LOQ gaming laptop: was $1,365 now $599 at Lenovo USA

Graphics card: RTX 5050
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 220
RAM: 16GB

If you're on a budget, then this entry-level Lenovo LOQ is going to be a fantastic option to get you started. It's not a high-end machine by any stretch, but an RTX 5050 and Ryzen 5 chipset means a decent level of performance at 1080p. And, at $599, there's no doubt this is one of the cheapest gaming laptop deals on the entire market right now.

Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10 gaming laptop
Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 10 gaming laptop: was $1,899.99 now $949 at Lenovo USA

Graphics card: RTX 5060
Processor: Intel Ultra 7 255HX
RAM: 16GB

If I were laying my own cash down, I'd be severely tempted by this Lenovo Legion 5i. For one, it's hitting that sweet spot between power and value with its RTX 5070 and Ultra 7. Not only that, but this machine features a 15.1-inch OLED display, which is a major selling point for this model. While these higher-end displays are starting to become more commonplace now, they're still pretty rare on machines in this price bracket.

Another really incredible deal, this time on a higher-end machine. Not only are you getting that stunning OLED display and Ultra 7 with this Legion 5 configuration, but this is also one of the cheapest RTX 5070 laptops on the market right now. The graphics card here will be particularly handy for getting smooth frame rates on this machine's 1600p display - and hopefully for a few good years, too.

Collectively, these are some of the best gaming laptop deals I've seen since Black Friday in November, and I imagine they'll likely overshadow many of the upcoming Presidents' Day laptop sales that are about to ramp up at major retailers.

Lenovo does this thing where it lists ridiculous retail prices for its machines to make the price cuts bigger. Even with that, these are very strong deals when compared to other retailers currently. You're getting a good price for the specs, and in the case of the latter two options, premium OLED displays. We haven't personally reviewed the latest Legion 5, but we were very impressed with the previous generation, so these deals are definitely worth considering.
