If you're interested in drone videography or photography, but don't know where to start, I have the perfect deal. It's the DJI Mini 4K drone on sale at Amazon right now for $239 (was $299).

This is, so far, a new record-low price on one of our favorite models - one that we rank at number one on our best budget drone buyer's guide, no less. It might not seem like a huge discount, but this is a great deal on a model that hasn't been on sale since November last year.

The excellent DJI Mini 4K has just hit its lowest ever price over at Amazon, giving beginner drone pilots the perfect opportunity to pick up one of our favorite models. Alongside excellent 4K footage, the Mini 4K also boasts 31 minutes of flight time, a useful 2x digital zoom, and a three-axis gimbal for smooth video capture.

Are DJI drones still a smart buy?

If you're a beginner drone pilot, you may be wondering how the 2025 ban affects the DJI 4K Mini. Well, the ban is enforced on new drones imported from overseas, so older stock like the 4K Mini is essentially unaffected.

Because of that, you can fly your drone in peace (and responsibly) for the time being. As of writing, there's nothing to suggest that the US government will enforce a full ban on drone flight, so we're still happy to recommend the DJI 4K Mini if you're looking for a powerful, yet compact model.
