When will Verizon's Black Friday deals start?

Verizon usually starts its Black Friday deals season a little early. Last year in fact, it kicked off its sale on November 10th. While no details have been shared or announced by the carrier in regard to its plans for 2025, I'd expect something similar this year. At the very least, I'd start checking in from the first week of November because every year retailers seem to start their Black Friday deals earlier and earlier.

Will the iPhone 17 have a good deal?
Almost certainly. I've covered Verizon's Black Friday iPhone deals for over five years now, and the carrier always has excellent promotions on the latest series. At the very least, I would expect the carrier to run the same deal that it initially offered when these devices were available to preorder back in September.
I think the above promotion is likely to be the 'headline' deal at the carrier - but we might also see variations on the theme. For example, Verizon might waive the trade-in criteria for the discount on the phone like it has done recently with the iPhone Air. Unfortunately, there are no real surprises when it comes to Verizon Black Friday deals. As with the carrier's promotions at other times of the year, the biggest discounts will be reserved for those who sign up for one of the carrier's priciest unlimited plans.
You may also, depending on the various T&Cs, have to trade in an old device to be eligible for a discount. In recent years, Verizon and other carriers have been a lot less strict on the criteria, however, so your mileage may vary when it comes to this year's Black Friday deals at the carrier.
For example, last year, Verizon offered the excellent iPhone 16 Pro for free without even having to trade in. Recently, the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 have both been free under similar criteria too, so there is precedent for excellent promotions that don't require the usual trade-in.
