  • Four models: two with ANC, two without
  • On-ear and over-ear versions
  • Very long battery life, LE Audio and multi-point

JBL has upgraded its bestselling Tune headphones with four new Bluetooth 6.0 models, two of which bring ANC and JBL Spatial Sound to the popular headphone range.

All four models are supremely affordable and offer a great specification for the price. Whichever one you choose, you can expect up to 76 hours of battery life, Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio, JBL's Pure Bass, and multi-point connectivity. They also support Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair.

We've reviewed previous models of JBL Tune headphones and found them to punch above their price tag: they're fuss-free, solid headphones with good sound, good battery life, and in the ANC models, good noise cancelling too.

JBL Tune headphones 2025: key features and pricing

The flagships here are the JBL Tune 780NC and Tune 680NC, which feature a refreshed design and adaptive noise cancellation, along with Ambient Aware mode. Battery life is up to 76 hours with ANC off and 50 hours with ANC on, and it takes 5 minutes of fast charging to get 5 hours of play time.

The two headphones are identical bar their drivers, which are 40mm in the Tune 780NC and 32mm in the Tune 680NC; the larger ones are over-ears and the smaller are on-ears. Both models feature spatial sound plus JBL's Personi-Fi 3.0 for a personalized sound curve based on your hearing capabilities.

The Tune 780NC will be available from November 2025 for £119.99 / €129.99 (about AU$246); we're waiting on details of US pricing and availability.

The Tune 680NC will also go on sale in November, priced at £89.99 / €99.99 (about AU$185). Both noise-cancelling models will come in a choice of Black, White, Blue and Beige.

If you're not fussed about ANC and Personi-Fi then the Tune 730BT and Tune 530BT are even more affordable, and like their siblings, the only difference between them is the driver size: 40mm in the Tune 730BT and 33mm in the Tune 530BT. Both have 76-hour battery life, LE audio and fast charging, and both come in Black, White, Blue and Beige; the Tune 530BT will also be available in Lavender.

The JBL Tune 730BT will be available from October 2025 for £39.99 / €79.99 (about AU$82) and the Tune 530BT will go on sale at the same time for £29.99 / €49.99 (about AU$61).
