There are still plenty of Prime Day headphone deals to take advantage of, despite the fact that Prime Day is winding down and will be over in a few hours. So, we're still here tracking the best offers for you.

Whether you're looking to upgrade your own pair of cans or trying to find an affordable gift for a loved one, there are still great discounts from Apple, Sony, Beats, JBL and more. Some of our favorite highly-rated headphones have discounts, including AirPods Pro 2 for a joint lowest price ever of $199 at Amazon, Sony WH1000XM5 headphones for record-low price of $328 at Amazon, or Beats Studio Buds for $89.99 at Amazon.

We'll keep checking to see if more of the best headphones have gained discounts, from other retailers as well as Amazon, and will update this page throughout the day!

Amazon Prime Day headphones deals: US

AirPods Pro 2: was

AirPods Pro 2: was $249 now $199 at Amazon
This is the joint-lowest price these buds have been since their launch, and they're excellent value here – the sound quality is fantastic, the noise cancellation is up with the best-in-class buds, and they're packed with smart features for iPhone users. We doubt you'll see a lower price over Prime Day. Here's our full AirPods Pro 2 review where we rave about them.

Sony WH-CH720: was $149.99

Sony WH-CH720: was $149.99 now $98 at Amazon
This 35% off discount is the cheapest we've seen these Sony over-ears by some margin – their previous lowest-seen price on Amazon was $128 back in April. As we said in our four-star Sony WH-CH720 review, these mid-range Sony cans pack in a lot of audio finesse and smart features for the price. Unlike Sony's cheaper earbuds, they're not stealing flagship-like performance from the gods, but they're a comfortable, enjoyable listen, and the ANC does a good job of lowering outside noise.

Beats Studio Buds: was $149.95

Beats Studio Buds: was $149.95 now $89.99 at Amazon
As our detailed Studio Buds review states, Apple's June 2021 Beats-branded buds are "some of the best Beats buds you can buy", and with this discount they're even more tempting. This discount equals their lowest-ever-seen price, too. Yes, the newer Beats Studio Buds Plus have landed, but these are now about half the price, while still delivering fast pairing, active noise cancelation, Find My support, and more.

Sony WH-1000XM5 over-ears: was $399.99

Sony WH-1000XM5 over-ears: was $399.99 now $328 at Amazon
Quite simply the newest and best in Sony's class-leading wireless over-ear lineup. If it's the best noise cancelation you want (and you also want excellent sound and smart features), you can't do better, as our full Sony WH-1000XM5 review makes clear – especially with this much off! Have we seen them this cheap before? No – we've seen them drop to $349 before, but never this low.

JBL Tune 510BT: was $49.95

JBL Tune 510BT: was $49.95 now $39.95 at Amazon
JBL does extremely well at delivering bang for your buck, and though we haven't tested these headphones, based on our experience with the best cheap headphones from the company, we doubt you'll do any better on sound and comfort from on-ear headphones for under $40.

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless: was $199.99

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless: was $199.99 now $109.95 at Amazon
In our Skullcandy Crusher Wireless review, we said that if you like big bass (and you cannot lie) or tinkering with the sound of your headphones, these are great fun. This isn't the cheapest they've ever been – they hit $80 in 2021 – but it's basically the lowest they've fallen since then. They're older headphones, but are still an interesting choice with this kind of discount.

Sennheiser HD 660S2 headphones: was $599.95

Sennheiser HD 660S2 headphones: was $599.95 now $399.95 at Amazon
This great deal sees some stunning open-backed studio-grade wired over-ears made by Sennheiser drop to significantly less than we've ever seen them. Our Sennheiser HD 660S2 review is the place to go for details on these gentle giants, but suffice to say if it's detail and finesse in a wired design you're after, take a hard look (or listen) at these.

Jabra Elite 5 earbuds: was $149.99

Jabra Elite 5 earbuds: was $149.99 now $99.99 at Amazon
These were $10 cheaper over Prime Day, but are still a good deal today. While these earbuds have not been given a full TechRadar review, our initial reaction to the September 2022 issue earbuds was resoundingly positive thanks to their upgraded mic setup for super-clear call handling. Their best-ever asking price before this Prime Day discount was $101.

Amazon Prime Day headphones deals: UK

Sony WH-1000XM4: was

Sony WH-1000XM4: was £350 now £199 at Amazon
This is a record-low price for the model we rate as the best headphones in the world for most people. For this price, nothing gives you such rich sound, great noise cancellation, and smart features – all in a lightweight and comfortable package, as our Sony WH-1000XM4 review tells you. Do not miss this offer if you want quality ANC headphones.

Sony LinkBuds S earbuds: was £180

Sony LinkBuds S earbuds: was £180 now £125.99 at Amazon
Exceptionally small, light, comfortable earpieces with a great control app plus a slew of well-implemented on-ear control options. They're not the most dynamic or zealous listen we've ever heard, but for this money the sound is still up there with the best in show. Although we briefly (very briefly) saw them dip to one penny below £100 in October last year, at this price they're a solid bet from a trusted name in audio – particularly if you have smaller ears.

Sony WF-C500: was

Sony WF-C500: was £90 now £56.49 at Amazon
These are excellent buds for the price – lightweight, comfortable, and they sound impressive. Being from Sony, there's a great balance to the audio, and they're lively and expressive, as our full Sony WF-C500 review explains. The under £60 earbuds category has become hot recently, with big names and upstarts all competing – but you can't go wrong with Sony.

Sony WH-CH520: was

Sony WH-CH520: was £60 now £47.97 at Amazon
We only recently posted our Sony WH-CH520 review, and it was a rave – we said you basically can't get better sound for the price. And already the price has fallen by 20%, so if you want some great budget on-ear headphones, look no further.

JBL Tune 760NC: was £119

JBL Tune 760NC: was £119 now £59.99 at Amazon
Looking for headphones with solid noise cancellation and fun sound, and good comfort for long wearing sessions? The mid-range JBL Tune headphones are ideal – especially at this more budget price. These dropped to cheaper than this over Black Friday last year – as low as £50. But if you like the price and what's on offer, we think they're a good deal right now anyway.

Do you need Amazon Prime to buy Prime Day headphone deals?

An Amazon Prime membership was required to take full advantage of this year's Prime Day headphone deals, but anything left now will be available to all. While there are often listings open to everybody on Prime Day, the best deals are usually reserved for prime members only. If you're not a member, don't worry - you can still sign up for a free 30-day trial in the lead-up. That will give you access to all the offers – and you can cancel the trial at any time within 30 days.

We also saw plenty of other retailers offering competing Prime Day headphone deals last year. In the US, Best Buy and Walmart were price matching some of the record low prices we saw on big-ticket items, and in the UK, Currys was honoring price matches from Amazon as well.
