ExpressVPN has announced that four new major features are being added to its VPN plans starting today, February 5.

The tools — ExpressAI, ExpressMailGuard, Identity Defender, and ExpressKeys — are the biggest expansion to ExpressVPN's portfolio since it eSIM launched in December 2024.

What this means for your VPN plan

ExpressVPN has confirmed to TechRadar that all of its plans will stay the same price, despite the new features,

This means that with ExpressVPN's Valentine's Day sale, you can try all of the new features with an Advanced plan for only $3.14 per month, billed as $88 upfront on a two-year plan with 4 months extra included. For the full package, a Pro plan is currently only $5.24 per month, billed as $146.80 for 28 months of coverage.

If you're still contracted to one of ExpressVPN's old 'one-plan-fits-all' packages, there's no need to worry. ExpressVPN confirmed that users on these plans would be given access to everything you'd expect in an Advanced plan — ExpressAI, ExpressKeys, ExpressMailGuard, and Identity Defender (if you're in the US).

A simpler, more secure way to save, organize, and autofill their credentials."

Shay Peretz, Chief Operating Officer at ExpressVPN

If you'd previously used ExpressKeys in the ExpressVPN app, don't stress. The new launch merely moves the platform to a standalone app, with improved features and functionality.

If you've used ExpressKeys before, logging in with your ExpressVPN credentials will give you access to all your saved details.

Shay Peretz, Chief Operating Officer at ExpressVPN said: "We’re giving users a simpler, more secure way to save, organize, and autofill their credentials. ExpressKeys is also an important step in where we’re headed: a broader privacy ecosystem designed to give people more control over their digital lives."
