The best home security cameras can provide peace of mind as they allow you to keep an eye on your home, even when you’re not around. However, they can be a costly purchase - so a home security camera deal is always welcome.

In the UK, Amazon has slashed 33% off the price of the Blink Outdoor home security camera, reducing it to £59.99 from £89.99. This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the compact weatherproof home security camera, beating those seen on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. (Not in the UK? Amazon is also offering a £30 saving on Blink Outdoor - a weatherproof version of the Blink Indoor making it suitable for use outside. This isn’t the lowest price we’ve ever seen for the Blink Outdoor - it hit £64.99 on Black Friday last year, but it’s still good value.

At the same time, Amazon has also discounted Blink’s battery-powered indoor security camera. There’s a £15 saving on the Blink Indoor, which unlike the Blink Outdoor, isn’t weatherproof but can still record footage when motion is detected in Full HD.

Amazon has also knocked £5 off the cost of this wired indoor security camera, which can record full HD video during the day and at night if motion is detected. This is the lowest price we’ve seen this home security camera go for, but it won’t last for long – so we suggest you grab this home security camera deal now.

As well as being affordable compared to rivals from Arlo and Ring, the Blink Outdoor is powered by 2xAA batteries, which the Amazon-owned company claims will last up to 365-days before they need recharging.

However, its real bonus is that the camera comes with the Blink Sync module 2, which means footage recorded by the camera can be stored locally rather than needing to subscribe to a cloud storage service. However, you will need a 256 GB USB flash drive (around $25 / £25) that connects to the syn module to enable the local storage.
