Stranger Things: Tales From 85, the first animated project in the supernatural sci-fi horror franchise, is set to arrive in the next few days. There's been plenty of online chatter about how it might affect Stranger Things' canon and lore — the story sits between the main Netflix show's second and third seasons, so if it helps from a timeline perspective, you can consider it to be Stranger Things season 2.5.

Stranger Things: Tales From 85 will be released in full on April 23. That means that come launch day, all of its 10 episodes will be available to stream on Netflix.

With every chapter clocking in between 25 and 30 minutes, it'll make for an easy binge watch, too. Just make sure you're stocked up on plenty of Eggos if you decide to embark on another Stranger Things marathon.

I've seen the animated show in its entirety, so keep an eye out for my Tales From 85 review later this week. In the meantime, find out why Tales From 85's showrunner has defended the decision to replace the main series' actors with a whole new voice cast.
