Netflix has three new TV shows returning in April, so it's well worth staying subscribed to the best streaming service if you've been waiting for any of them.

Or, if you're completely new to them, you have a lot of episodes to binge-watch. There's a great mix of things here, whether you want crime, comedy, or sci-fi.

All good things must come to an end. The Law According to Lidia Poët has its third and final season on Netflix this month, and I'm excited to follow more gripping legal cases in 1800s Turin.

Lidia Poët stands out from the crowd in this series as the first and only female lawyer in the city, where she works tirelessly to prove she's just as worthy as her male counterparts and fight for the right to practice law, not just for her but also for other women.

If that wasn't hard enough, she's got a very personal case to examine in season 3, after her best friend, Grazia Fontana, is accused of murdering her husband. So this season should be a very interesting one indeed.

 Beef season 2

Beef season 2 is coming, but it looks a lot different this time. We have an all-new cast comprising Cailee Spaeny, Charles Melton, Oscar Isaac, and Carey Mulligan, whose lives spiral out of control after a single incident.

This time, a Gen Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their millennial boss and his wife. They're both lower-level staff at a country club and find themselves becoming entangled in the unraveling marriage of their general manager, and then some.

Season 1 was full of twists and turns, and I'm sure the next chapter of the anthology series will be just as shocking.

Finally, the next chapter of the Stranger Things universe comes in an animated form. Designed to look like an '80s Saturday-morning cartoon, The Duffer Brothers are bringing all our favorite characters to life in a whole new way.

Set between the second and third seasons of Stranger Things, the series explores new monsters as the group unravels a paranormal mystery, with the Upside Down at the center as always.

The original cast of Stranger Things isn't returning for this, and the animated series has a brand new ensemble of voice actors taking on the iconic roles. I'm keen to see how it plays out.
