Avengers: Secret Wars will include a key character from Spider-Man: Brand New Day – and the individual in question isn't Tom Holland.
Per Deadline, Sadie Sink, who joined Spider-Man: Brand New Day's cast in March, is set to appear in the sixth Avengers movie.
It's unclear how big of a role she'll have to play in the Multiverse Saga capper. Nonetheless, according to the article's writer Baz Bamigboye, who's considered to be a reliable source of insider information, Sink is part of the cast that'll convene to shoot Avengers: Secret Wars sometime in 2026.
This isn't to say that Holland's Spider-Man won't also be part of the aforementioned Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) film.
There's no official word on whether he'll show up in Avengers: Doomsday, i.e. the movie that'll precede Secret Wars. Holland wasn't part of Doomsday's initial 27-strong cast reveal in March and, with Brand New Day's place on the MCU timeline still a hot topic of discussion among fans, we don't know if its story will be set before Doomsday or run concurrent to it.
Regardless, as one of the MCU's most bankable stars, it's inevitable that, whether he's in Doomsday or not, Holland will be part of Secret Wars' cast. Expect him and Sink to re-team on the latter of these Marvel Phase 6 projects, then.
Who is Sadie Sink playing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
Sink's reported involvement in Secret Wars has reignited the debate about who she's playing in Spider-Man 4 and, more generally, the MCU.

When the news broke that the Stranger Things actor had joined Marvel's ever-expanding cinematic franchise, industry insiders insisted she'd been tapped to play one of two individuals: X-Men icon Jean Grey or Mayday Parker, the latter being the daughter of Peter Parker and Mary Jane Watson in the comics.
The rumor mill has gone into overdrive in the months since Sink signed on. Indeed, gossip columns have speculated she's playing anyone from an alternate reality version of Mary Jane to the antagonistic Spider Wasp deity known as Shathra. Meanwhile, leaked images from the Brand New Day set led fans to believe that she would portray Rachel Cole-Alves, a former Marine and sidekick to another Spider-Man 4 supporting character in Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle/The Punisher.

With Sink apparently due to feature in Secret Wars, though, I'm more convinced than ever that she's playing Mayday Parker.
Think about it. Holland's Peter Parker has already met Tobey Maguire's beloved take on the character in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Additionally, Maguire's Parker is not only around the right age to be a father, but also tells Holland's and Andrew Garfield's webslingers in the aforementioned threequel that he's making things work with his universe's Mary Jane, who was played by Kirsten Dunst in Maguire's Spider-Man trilogy.
Throw in the latest rumor that Maguire's Spidey will appear in Avengers: Doomsday, plus that flick and its sequel's multiverse-centric two-part tale, and everything's lining up for Sink to portray the Mayday Parker from Maguire's Spider-Man universe. Of course, that would raise further questions, such as why she's in the MCU and not her own dimension. If Sink is playing Mayday, though, that query and countless others should be answered in Brand New Day.
