Invincible season 4 will draw to a close with its eighth and final episode shortly. And, even though last week's explosive and highly emotional chapter means this week's entry might not be as action-packed and destructive, don't expect the Prime Video show's latest season to go out with a whimper before its now customary annual hiatus.
Don't fret, I'm not going to spoil what happens in this season's finale, titled 'Don't Leave Me Hanging Here'. What I can tell you, though, is when Invincible's latest finale will come out, so read on for more details.

Will there be a fifth season of Invincible?
Yes. Invincible season 5 was officially announced in July 2025, so the adult animated series' run isn't over yet.
When will it be released? Unsurprisingly, no confirmed launch date has been publicly revealed yet. That's because post-production work is ongoing on its next season.
Chatting to ComicBook.com ahead of season 4's arrival in March, co-creator Robert Kirkman indicated an early 2027 released was looking likely. Apart from Invincible season 2, whose first half premiered in late 2023, every other season — including season 2 part 2 — of the popular R-rated adaptation has launched in the first three months of the year that they came out in. With Kirkman and company aiming to release a new season annually, next February or March seems like a safe bet to expect new episodes of the critically-acclaimed program.
