As part of Amazon's October Prime Day deals, there is a limited-time Prime Video streaming sale that has discounted over 20 subscription add-ons, including the horror streaming service Shudder, which is currently available as a bundle with MGM+.

If you just want Shudder on its own, that's an option too for $8.99 per month, but the bundle represents better value as you can add MGM+ for just $3 more, giving you access to both streamers for $11.99 per month. Take a look at the great deal below.

It is October, so what better time to watch some of the best horror movies? Shudder has a lot of originals coming out this month, and teamed with MGM+ original programming, you're sure to never be bored this spooky season.

If you're keen to try out Shudder, I've found the best horror movies to watch on the streaming service this October. Here are three recently added movies I recommend taking a look at this spooky season.

All Hallows’ Eve

You may be familiar with Terrifier, the horror movie series which follows Art the Clown. He's become an iconic villain in recent months since he got his own house at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal, and you might want more Art in your life as a result of that.

Before the Terrifier movies came All Hallow's Eve, an anthology movie starring Art himself, and it's now streaming on Shudder throughout October and beyond. It's well worth checking out, even if you've never seen a Terrifier movie, as it's the perfect place to get acquainted with Art. If you're brave enough, of course.

Here, a babysitter finds two VHS tapes that have footage of numerous murders committed by Art. The sequel, All Hallow's Eve 2, is also streaming on Shudder.

O.T.H.E.R

Runtime: 95 minutes
Director: David Moreau
Main cast: Olga Kurylenko, Jean Schatz, Philip Schurer, Julie Maes

You might know Olga Kurylenko from Thunderbolts* and Quantum of Solace, but now she's at the helm of a new horror. O.T.H.E.R is a French-language movie that follows a woman named Alice who returns home after her mother's death.

But despite the house being unchanged, Alice soon learns it's rigged with surveillance tracking her every move, as a sinister presence lurks, which drives her her towards a terrifying revelation.

With plenty of mystery and tension, this is a great watch this Halloween series.

Runtime: 115 minutes

Main cast: David Haydn, Anna McKelvie, Adam James Johnston, Eddie MacKenzie

V/H/S is among the best found footage horror franchises out there, and I'm really excited to see a new one on Shudder called V/H/S Halloween. Once again, this is an anthology made up of shorts, which are built into an overall narrative that also acts as its sixth film.

The main narrative follows the fictional Octagon Company, who are are planning to launch a new soda called Diet Phantasma. To do this, they bring in multiple subjects to try the product before it's released to the wider public.

Outside of the Phantasma storyline, there's individual shorts all themed around Halloween, each one as terrifying as the last.
