Another sales event, another chance for me to shout out an offer on an excellent and affordable vacuum cleaner that we awarded 4.5 stars out of five in our Shark Stratos Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner review. I can't praise these vacuums enough for the Anti-Hair Wrap tech that has saved me so much time unclogging the brush roll compared to my old vacuum. This handy kitchen gadget has been a little cheaper than this in the past, but today's offer is still decent if you don't want to wait for potential further price cuts later this month.

The unique Ninja Slushi just got its biggest discount yet in John Lewis' early Black Friday deals. This kitchen appliance makes all sorts of chilled and frozen drinks, including juices, cocktails, milkshakes, and more. We loved it in our Ninja Slushi review, praising its ability to make quick and delicious drinks easily in a fun and entertaining package.

OK, it's not a huge discount, but it's still one of the first price cuts I've seen on the Nintendo Switch 2. Given that the console usually costs around £395 by itself, you're effectively getting a copy of Mario Kart World bundled in for just £14 – that's a huge steal. I don't anticipate the deals will be any better than this as we get into the depths of Black Friday, and there could be stock issues come November, so I think this is a great time to buy ahead of the mad rush.

LG has been crushing it in the world of TVs over the last few years, and its latest C5 is another strong contender for one of the best OLED TVs you can buy right now. This latest version boasts the same fantastic contrast, rich blacks, impressive brightness and vivid colours of previous models in the range, making it ideal for all sorts of viewing. It's also a top TV for PS5 and Xbox Series X, with support for a 120Hz refresh rates and minimal input lag to get the smoothest and most responsive gaming experience.

Samsung's lineup of Crystal UHD TVs is less feature-rich compared to the pricier OLED and QLED displays, but they are a capable and affordable option for general everyday viewing. This 65-inch model is now available at a tempting low price in the early John Lewis Black Friday sale if you don't need all the fancy features of a premium TV. For the money, you get a large and modern TV that supports high-quality 4K resolution and all the most popular streaming apps.

We've always had a slightly mixed view of 'The Frame' series of TVs from Samsung, but the latest 2025 model is by far the best - and addresses a number of our previous issues. Put simply, it's now not just a great-looking TV, but also a great-performing TV with excellent image quality. As always, this set is made to perfectly blend into your room by not just being a TV, but also a clever dynamic art or photo display.

We called the Galaxy S25 Ultra the 'ultimate Android' phone in our review earlier this year. If you're going big, then the Ultra is an amazing choice, melding a powerful chipset, a stunning high-end display, and a versatile camera setup. It's a pricey buy, for sure, but today's discount at John Lewis does bring this exceptional flagship phone down to its lowest unlocked price.

For a cheaper (but still excellent) smartphone, consider the Galaxy S25 FE. This mid-range model strips out a few of the bells and whistles from the standard Galaxy S25, but still offers a smooth experience for most users. Under the hood, you don't get the most powerful chipset or the most high-end screen, but some may prefer this model's larger 6.7-inch display, which is bigger than the standard S25's 6.2-inches.

The latest version of the standard Kindle is a great Christmas gift, especially at this record-low price for Black Friday. It's a basic ereader, but it still boasts a four-week battery life and space for thousands of books. Given it's £60 cheaper than the Paperwhite, this is clearly a better pick for the infrequent reader who's after a more budget-friendly option. At under £70, this Black Friday deal is a new record-low price for the ereader, but far from the bigger discounts I've seen in previous years.

Sony's flagship wireless earbuds are down to a record-low price for Black Friday. These offer the excellent audio quality you'd expect from Sony earbuds, with rich and detailed sound, according to our four-star review. The active noise cancellation underwhelmed a little, and rivals are catching up a little, but these are still a leading pair of excellent earbuds for a fantastic price.

Looking for a cheaper Dyson vacuum? The V11 is a great choice. It's not the latest device in the range, but it's still a really great performer for the price. Our review gave this one four and a half stars out of five, praising its runtime and auto-mode for various surfaces. In terms of bang for the buck, it's hard to beat the V11 currently.

The Dyson V15 received a four-and-a-half-star rating when we reviewed it, and it remains an incredible option for those seeking a high-end cordless vacuum - even if it's no longer the latest model. Alongside excellent performance, the V15 Detect also features a handy laser mode that highlights any dirt on your carpet and an auto-suction mode that improves your battery life by adapting to surfaces.

This fabulous bean-to-cup coffee machine received 4.5 stars in our review because we loved the way it gives you total control over the brewing process. It's much more transparent than most similar machines, letting you easily tweak the grind size, temperature, and extraction time. With over £100 off, this is one of the best prices I've seen for the excellent coffee maker at John Lewis.
