Bose's 5-star QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) just dropped to their lowest ever price – run to grab these!
$249 for Bose's top noise-canceling buds?! And yes, my 'Sonic Sangria' set is in the deal
Some products take whatever was there already and do just one thing so well, they knock every competitor clean out of the water, no matter the cost. And (you can probably guess where I'm going with this) the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are that product. I reviewed them, and I've been reviewing earbuds constantly since 2019, so I know this area extremely well.
And I also happen to know that right now, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) are down to just $249 at Amazon (was $299) and when you consider that they only landed in summer 2025, so this is the first discount of any significance anyone has ever seen, $50 is a big saving.
• Shop Amazon's full early Black Friday sale
Right now, there are myriad Black Friday deals live on headphones and earbuds, (and it's not even Black Friday proper yet) but please believe me when I tell you that these are my go-to ANC earbuds and I think any saving on them is worth shouting about – and buying. These are not your average 'let's try and shift these before the next set come in' kind of earbuds; they're huge sellers.

Today's best Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) Black Friday deal
On the face of it, a $50 saving isn't the most headline-worthy sale you'll see on Black Friday. But this is Bose. It's also the first ever saving I've seen on this set of 5-star, 2025-release noise-cancelling earbuds that basically walk all over anything else on the market for noise cancellation (except maybe Apple's AirPods Pro 3 – but if you don't own an iPhone I don't recommend those, however good the deal). A lowest-seen fee on a truly excellent set of new earbuds from Bose? Yes please.
My in-depth Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (2nd Gen) review is the place to go for the full scoop, but even a cursory glance at the maximum five-star rating may be all you need. They're good, people; they're really really good.
Also, for those with particular interest, yes, the 'Sonic Sangria' finish pictured above is in the deal, and please believe me when I tell you they get plenty of compliments. (All other colors are included too, though.)
I wear them daily when not testing their direct rivals, but I also switch out to the Bose buds when testing the active noise cancellation efficacy of the competition, since the Bose QCUE (2nd Gen) are essentially a reference product – a benchmark for what can be achieved in an in-ear design, if you've got the chops.
With this particular iteration, which arrived in June 2025 (a follow up to the inaugural 2023-issue Ultras), you get wireless charging from the box and multi-point connectivity that works seamlessly, something the original QCU Earbuds bizarrely lacked on their release.
I also adore the Immersive audio profiles, which mix device- and streaming service agnostic spatial audio plus Bose's legendary (and pioneering) noise cancellation to give you various vigorous, exciting, zealous soundstages for your music or movies.
Some of the best earbuds on the market then? Oh absolutely. And one of the best Black Friday earbuds deals I've seen? Also yes – 100% yes.
More Black Friday earbuds deals to consider
OK, so this is a little more than the lowest-ever price we've seen for the WF-1000XM5 in the US, but this early Black Friday deal is worth pouncing on if you're after a great set of smaller-size earbuds and own an Android device. Looking for an alternative to AirPods Pro or Bose and want to save some dollars in the process? Sony's got the answer.
This is the lowest price we've ever seen for the AirPods Pro 2, and it's an astounding value for earbuds this good. They sound superb, they have high-tier noise cancellation (though not as good as the Bose above), they have an unlose-able case, and they have the newer Live Translation and hearing aid features that also feature on AirPods Pro 3. An amazing deal for Apple users.
This isn't the cheapest these have been, so if you're in the US, it might be worth holding out to see what the rest of Black Friday brings – they've been $79 before, so hopefully Nothing will beat that before the sales season is done. Though even this price is pretty damn good for earbuds this impressive.
