Like Telstra, preordering the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on one of the following Vodafone plans will get you a free 256GB microSD card. The telco is also offering each of the handset's three available colours on its plans.
Voda's cheap entry-level plan costs $74 per month ($40 for the plan and $34 for the phone) and for that customers receive 500MB of data (unlimited data for the first month), infinite standard national calls, and infinite standard text to Australia and overseas. The total cost is $1,776 over 24 months.
The second Vodafone plan offers eight times the data (3GB + 1GB bonus) for $89 per month ($60 for the plan and $29 for the phone), with unlimited standard national calls, infinite text within Australia and overseas, and 150 standard international minutes to selected countries. Total cost is $2,136.
The next step up costs $92 per month ($70 for the plan and $22 for the phone), for which customers receive 6GB of data, infinite standard national calls and infinite text within Australia and overseas. Total cost is $2,208 over 24 months.
For three dollars more at $95 per month, Vodafone customers will get 6GB + 2GB of bonus data, infinite standard national calls, infinite standard text here and to overseas, 300 standard international minutes to selected countries and 1000 international minutes to its Super 1000 listed countries. The total cost of the plan over 24 months is $2,280.
Next is Vodafone's $112 plan, which offers 15GB of data (10GB + 5GB bonus data), infinite standard national calls and text here and to overseas, 300 standard international minutes to selected countries and 1000 international minutes to its Super 1000 listed countries. Total cost over 24 months is $2,688,
Finally, Vodafone's top tier plan will set you back $133 per month ($130 for the plan and $3 for the handset) for 20GB worth of data (15GB + 5GB bonus data). As you'd expect, it also comes with the same calls, text and international minutes as the previous two plans. The total cost is $3,192 over 24 months.

Virgin Mobile
As usual, Virgin Mobile has the widest range of plans available for Samsung's latest flagship phablet, with no less than eight different pricing options on offer and the added bonus of rollover data. And, like Telstra and Vodafone, you'll also get a bonus 256GB microSD card if you preorder before August 18.
The opening plan costs $67 per month ($30 for the plan and $37 for the phone), offering 300MB of data, $300 worth of standard calls and text, with a minimum cost of $1,608 over 24 months.
The following plan costs $72 per month ($40 for the plan and $32 for the phone), with a total cost of $1,728 over 24 months. For that, customers get unlimited standard national calls and texts (free between Virgin customers on all plans) and 500MB of data (with another bonus 500MB if you preorder online before August 15).
The third plan costs $77 per month ($50 for the plan and $27 for the phone), with a total cost of $1,848 over 24 months. Customers receive unlimited standard national calls and SMS, as well as 3GB of total data (2GB + 1GB when you sign up online before August 15).
Next is Virgin's $85 per month plan ($50 for the plan and $25 for the phone), totalling $2,040 over 24 months. It offers 5GB of total data (4GB + 1GB when you sign up online before August 15) and unlimited standard national calls and SMS.
For $3 more, the $88 plan ($70 for the plan and $18 for the phone), which gets you 7GB of data, with a total cost of $2,112 over 24 months. It includes unlimited calls and text within Australia.
Next is Virgin's $92 plan ($80 for the plan and $12 for the phone), which gets you 8GB of total data (7GB + 1GB when you sign up online before August 15), with a total cost of $2,208 over 24 months. Like the last few plans, it includes unlimited calls and text within Australia.
For $104 per month ($100 for the plan and $4 for the phone), with a total cost of $2,496 over 24 months, customers receive unlimited calls and text in Australia, and 15GB of total data (13GB + 2GB when you sign up online before August 15).
Finally, Virgin's top plan will set you back $120 per month ($120 for the plan and $0 for the phone), costing $2,880 over 24 months. It offers 16GB of data, the usual unlimited calls and text within Australia and the added bonus of unlimited standard international calls and text from Australia to the UK, USA, New Zealand, China, India, Canada and Singapore.
