Xiaomi is soon going to roll out the Xiaomi 12 Pro flagship smartphone in India. The brand never shifts its focus from launching devices in all three smartphone segments - entry-level, mid-range, and flagship. That said, we are soon going to get a new budget Redmi smartphone in India.

A report published by PassionateGeekz has revealed the launch date of Redmi 10A in India. It has been mentioned in the report that the smartphone will be launched in India on April 20, which means next week. The smartphone is going to be a budget device with a MediaTek Helio processor.

It was launched previously in China a couple of months ago. As per the reports, the Indian variant of the smartphone will be similar to the Chinese variants in terms of specifications and features. Furthermore, it is being said that the device will be available in the price range of Rs 10,000.

Redmi 10A specifications

As we know that the smartphone is already available in the Chinese market, we have a fair idea of what the brand will offer in the upcoming device. One thing to mention here is that the smartphone looks like a stripped of version of Redmi 10 that was launched in India last month.

Redmi 10A may come with a 6.53-inch HD+ IPS LCD display. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G25 processor coupled with PowerVR8320 GPU.

The smartphone will most probably have two RAM variants - 3GB with 32GB internal storage and 4GB with 64GB internal storage. The smartphone may flaunt a single rear 13MP sensor with an LED flash. On the front, we can get to see a 5MP front snapper for selfies and video calls.

It might draw power from a 5000mAh battery along with 10W fast charging support. For security purposes, the device gets a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel. It will be available in three different colour options - Grey, Blue, and black.

It seems like the smartphone will be directly competing with Realme's Narzo 50i. The Realme device is available in the Indian market at a price of Rs 7,499. It packs specifications like a 5000mAh battery, Android 11 OS, 4GB RAM, 8MP rear sensor, etc.
