Want to refresh your bedroom for the summer? IKEA's new 'style trend' blends calming dark blues and soothing creams with pops of orangey coral. The result feels like a more homey, modern spin on a nautical look.

Below, I've picked out the pieces I'd use to recreate the trend in my own room. I'd start with the curvy Kulglass Bluetooth speaker/lamp, with its frosted globe that reminds me of sea glass, or perhaps the Solskydd speaker, which attaches to the wall and looks like art. Then I'd add a Humlemott throw and Sortso rug, both of which have a laid-back, washed finish. I'd crown it all off with the Sandkorn rattan lampshade, with its curvy edges that look a little like a scallop shell.
