Amazon’s Spring Sale starts tomorrow — but you can already save up to 71% on Blink and Ring devices

One of our favourite budget home security cameras is now even more affordable, and it also comes with the Blink Video Doorbell and Sync Module Core — an easy-to-install video doorbell whose standalone cost is more than this whole bundle. Despite the caveat of its pricey batteries, the video doorbell packs an upgraded head-to-toe view, and works harmoniously with the Blink Outdoor 4, which can run for up to two years on AA batteries.

Though we have yet to get our hands on Blink's Outdoor Camera 2K+, we've had plenty of experience with the Mini 2K which we credited for its video quality — so we imagine its upgraded sibling will be no exception. With this camera, nothing will go uncaptured thanks to its mega 4X zoom, all before you take advantage of its two-way audio to talk to whoever lurks on the other side.

The Echo Spot is the device to go for if you specifically want a smart alarm clock to help you ese your way into groggy mornings. It's bundled with the Ring Video Doorbell, which is a great set of eyes for your front door packing 1,440 x 1,440 HD video with colour night vision. Just remember that you'll need a Ring Home subscription to make the most of its capabilities.

We gave the Ring Video Doorbell Plus 4.5 stars, and rightly so. It's our best wireless video doorbell we've reviewed to date, packing a slew of upgrades including head-to-toe camera view and 1536p HD video, though this is one where a subscription really brings out the best of its abilities. Its accompanying Ring Indoor Camera is a great device to integrate into your existing Ring setup, providing flexible placement. If you have a Ring Protect subscription, it's works even more magic.

The Blink Mini 2 is a solid outdoor camera option, packing an IP65 rating and easy-to-use features that are simple enough for novices to get their heads around — and you'll get two of them for less than £25. If you don't want to tie yourself into a subscription plan, the Blink Sync Module 2 allows you to back up recorded footage locally, though you will need to purchase a storage device separately.
